I personally will continue to rag you guys constantly on 200 when you Ho me, gang me, and vulch me.

However Your team work is incredible. If a enemy's strats need to be hit, you up a 20 man b17 raid with escorts. If a field needs to be resuped, it is before the ord porker is out of the dar ring. If your attacking a field you send out strike teams that take either the vh or the supps at neighboring fields.
If your front basses are porked you up the mission as a field resup and instantly up as a strike package.
If your strats needs to be resuped you do it as a team and its up in 20 mins. I admire what you guys do as a team, although it can be frustrating as well.

I have to say though a lot of my frustration towards the bish stems from your little ankle bitters that always have something negative to say to the few who were brave enough to take on a large well organized team, as individuals going against the mass.

Maybe just maybe you should teach them how to be gracefull in victory.  :salute

Oh and Ps the p38 p51 raids are getting boring    can you guys through in a old school ju87 raid every once in a while?

I would love to go Bishop sometimes to hang out with some of those guys, but then I wouldn't have nearly as many targets

Suffinn,

Thank you for the accolade!

Your wish for a JU87 raid en masse has been put before the Grand Poobah, and I'm sure will be granted in one form or another. :D

As for the ankle biters; not suggesting that myself or any bishop for that matter would encourage such behavior, you could
consider self efficacy as evident by your self admission to rag on 200 for conditions which grieve you. Conditions while not
unique to this sim, and however undesirable, have and will likely always exist.

I agree that there are some guys who think that just because the get a kill on you while they are surrounded by their buddies, they are entitled to calling out your skill (or apparent lack there of) on 200 even though it took 5 of them to shoot you down. A lot of bish are good guys, and some have been jumping around to other countries lately. It gives some of us a chance to get to know them a bit better as a person and not as a name that shows up to keep track of kills.

The level of organization that you demonstrate is amazing. Sometimes I wish the rooks hat that level of organization. Rooks can get focused on a target and don't want to walk away until the job is done. Case in point, today I got on and there were 4 guys trying to defend against the bish rolling our bases. Meanwhile the other 45 rooks were ganging on a single nit base with no apparent uppers. It still took them an hour to take and it took 2 hours to get enough guys rolling towards the bish to start taking bases back.

As for the missions, the B-38 raids are getting old. Can you guys try running some old fashion missions with actual bombers and fighter escorts? ET37 runs them on the rooks side and they are a blast. Even if you don't capture the base you are hitting, you still have fun doing it. It's also a lot more fun intercepting such missions because the defenders get more of a chance to defend.

Bishops are amazing at working together. Rooks and Knights hate teamwork and that's why they hate the Bish so much.

Not so much when I asked a few bish to help me defend an AF under a horde, they laughed (especially angus who i challenged to up a 262 with me to defend it)
turns out a V-guy actually did with me, and we stopped the field from being taken.. team work in taking undefended bases yes, defending not so much.

Then again when theres a large red dar over a sector, most just say "its lost anyway".

Define teamwork!
-All you see is 40-60-100 green guys shuting down a small airfield or a GV base? Sheep-mentality? Yea, thats awesome, but isnt that avoiding combat in an air combat game?
-Porking. Often in a suicide way. Often even the surrounding bases, as someone mentioned. First, thats combat-avoiding for the porker (he wont fight back, but yell at you, "you fin hyene, cant do anything else but picking on those who are shot up by ack") and for the horde too (go drop the VH there and there, they cant spawn in then - we dont have to interact with any red guy then). Again, avoiding combat in an air combat game.

And thats why they dont defend, they might even see red guys who could eventually fight back!
Actually, during theese 3 weeks, only seen 2 Bishops who fought back: Tongs and Strega.

By the way, last time i met Angus, he was in the middle of 3 full darbars, at 20k in a 262. Those 3 full darbars were attacking a GV base - the one whats in front of V85 on the current map. He lost that jet though.

Edit: forgot the main point, why the knitrooks hates teamwork? Because there are much less of them who would fly 2 sectors alone in a p38 only to auger into an ords bunker. They horde too, though, thats in the human nature.

ET ran several last night including a whooper CV raid.  It was indeed a good time.

 :bhead

That is a bit over the top, really.  Perception is the culprit here.  Your perception that Rooks and Knights do not typically gang up in "teams" of 30 people to over whelm a field so it has no chance of defending is far different than mine.  Also, your overly grandeur statement "Rook/Knight hate Bish because they hate teamwork" is way out of line.  We in Duxford Wing RAF work rather well internally as a squad to hit field strats (otherwise known as "porkin'"), and work very well with other squads and the Rooks in general.  Thing is, we in Duxford, the Rooks and Knights (in general), see Aces High as a much bigger thing than just capturing fields with hordes of ENY 5 planes, there are many more things to do in AH. Having to fight for a target while being in that 20-30 man horde, not having to work for the "winz!", and otherwise being amongst the likes of a bunch of Xbawks gamers, score hoars, and rank lamers is about as narrow of an experience as a person can have while partaking in the AH experience.  Last word: I do not, along with most people I associate with, draw a direct correlation of self worth to the number of kills I land, the number of fields we capture or maps we "winz!", or the number of stars by my name.  If teamwork is by your definition sending a massed horde of P51D's to a field so there is no chance of defense, then you're right I want nothing to do with your definition of "teamwork".  Furthermore, I'd rather work my tail off in a P40 and barely lose to a high ENY LW plane than to be in a P51D and have it easy, that goes for my entire experience in AH.

So.... do you agree now that perception is the culprit?     :aok

The worst part of this game is flying forever and not being able to find stuff to shoot at.

Thank you hordes, regardless of where you hail from.
