bustr, we live in a day and age where responsibility is no longer generated from within. Responsibility today is external...

"it's not
MY fault I drank 30 beer and killed someone while driving! The BARTENDER shouldn't have served me!."
"The decision to commit suicide wasn't made by that perfect person, the negative comments online were the reason the person committed suicide."
I hate to think what'll be like in the 30-50 years. John Doe was sentenced to 30 years in jail today because his cat walked across his keyboard to spell "adyfvanjahgeiruihudsfa" which Jane Doe
interpreted as an insult. Jane obviously couldn't handle such extreme bullying and promptly ended her own life. ..... No matter the intention, context, OR content, John Doe
MUST be held responsible for some one else's actions.
I get physical real life bullying both mental and physical is an issue, but something like messages online or seemingly anonymous communications through games CANNOT be used as the cause for the effect.
It's ridiculous IMO.It's getting worse and worse. "It's not MY fault i can't learn, I have ADHD-ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQURSTUVWXYZ" "My teacher doesn't like me. etc. etc." Don't get me wrong, my older bro had ADD before they added the Hyperactive bit, he struggled in school but it was HIS struggle, not everyone else!
Cyber-bullying is fictional rationale used by lawyers and upset family members to justify the pain caused by an INDIVIDUALS actions. Bustr is right, the reality is that anything and everything external to the problem will be used to justify and rationalize actions. The media plays a large role in this.
