You know, you can play this game with a little courtesy, it's not hard to do.
Tonight, I see a V base blinking. We had lost a few V bases due to mass GV attacks, so I grabbed a heavy P-47D-30 and went to investigate. Upon arriving, I see a fellow Rook (Gavilan) rolling out to meet the incoming attack. He's nearly to the spawn area, about 4k from the base.
I dive down and look for the enemy GVs. I spot only one, a Panzer. I tell Gavilan where it is (hiding behind a knoll just in front of him) and stand off to watch the result. Gavilan rolls around the knoll and gets ambushed. Having given Gavilan his due opportunity, I split-s in and kill the Panzer.
My thoughts were these... Gavilan had taken a long time to get to the enemy. Plus, I didn't want to interfere in a 1v1 GV fight. Let 'em do their thing and take what's left, if anything.
There's an old saying, "a true measure of character is how people behave when they think no one is watching."
These days it could re-written to say, "a true measure of character is how people behave on the internet".
Now a days, the MA is not much different than an aerial version of Lord of the Flies.....
