I don't think it was designated the K-4.  The stats don't show the G-10 anywhere because that unit number was renamed K-4 and thus the stats always show K-4, even if it was called the G-10 at the time.

It was, of course, actually always a K-4 regardless of what it was called.

When AH had a free side, I flew a 51 and BnZ'd everything lol....
I flew it because of it's historical reference then gradiated much later to a 4hog and learnded how to do that ACM thing and now the 4hog remains in my hard drive that crashed.

started with spit 9s and 8s. Easy to fly decent gun package and has a chance (although small) against seasoned vets. Then started to fly the p38j and P51b. Flew those for quite a while and had this one player in a 15k Fm2 hand my tail to me a few times.  Tried the FM2 out and It has been my main ride for a while now although I also fly the 110g2 and yak9t now.   What ever ac you like. stick with it for a while and you will get better in it. :salute

my first stick didn't have rudder control so i used the p38 cause it would take off straight...now i like the italian 205 seems to fit my style ...but the situation determins the ride...seafire off the cv, german 110 when i need to bomb**** then fight,niki when its base defence and i know i will die soon in a turny fight, for bombing i have stuck with the lancs so i could get good at it

The aircraft that I flew the most when I started was the C-47. I suppose that it was based  the same reasons that was a goaltender in ice hockey. You are playing the game just a little bit differently than everyone else.

I still enjoy supplying other players and taking bases.

P51-D as it was required flying by the 13th Tas

FM2 when the first squad duels were going.
Each squad got to pick a ride for one duel. We were sure that one of the squads we were up against would pick the FM2.
One of our newer squaddies was familiar with it and spent a lot of time showing us how bestbto fly it.
From that point i never really wanted to fly anything else.

Lately i have tried the Brewster, it definately has some interest for me
