"The deputy should know, if it's a 9-1-1 call, the deputy has to know it is a dangerous situation". There's your answer. Maybe the cop thought they called 9-1-1 to invite him over for tea and cookies.

Another case of failure to take responsibility for ones own mistake and a blood sucking fiend lawyer looking for a payday.

In Finland it's common to get around 5000 euros as damages for killing someone. Broken wrist hardly covers the gas to the courthouse.

Going to a 911 call and getting the crap kicked out of you.
Perhaps this cop should consider a career change.

If every cop who was ever assaulted by a drug crazed mad man wound up having to pull his gun and use lethal force we would have dead people littering the landscape.
The cops excuse that the perp was going for his gun sounds just like what it is, an excuse. This guy let himself get into a situation where he felt his life was in danger because this guy was beating the hell out of him and now he blames the person who made the 911 call.
Gimme a break.

Maybe AH can start a crime fighters training corp and let Nypsy he the head trainer.

We can even pin a little plastic badge on him.
