Myself I personally think I did the right thing by making my opponent fight my fight and not his.
You have to fight to fight a fight. At one point in the film you had a 2K alt advantge on me at alt yet never tried to reverse, instead hoping the Spit XVI would take care of me for you. I saw him but if you watch the film you'll see he was losing ground on me and was never in a position to threaten me.
I asked Uptown to post the film. After the salute and lame fight comment came the inevitable "who killed who" response. I told him the only reason he killed me was because I gave him my six out of boredom and the film would substantiate that which it does. I was going to just bail but changed my mind at the last minute. I probably should have just not responded but I was drunk, tired, bored and frustrated. I'm usually not one to comment on 200.
I like to push the envelope in both my own (not that hard) and my planes performance and was doing exactly that. I was climbing at only 120 mph for much of that. I let him drag me to alt hoping when we reached prime operating alt for his aircraft that he'd actually fight but didn't until I turned out which isn't really fighting at all IMO.
It's all good. Everyone's able to play and fight the way they want even if it's vastly different.
I did learn a little more about the Spit I which I've been flying exclusively for the past three weeks in preperation for BoB and a little high alt work was good preperation. If you see a Spit I over the next few weeks it's probably me. Fear the BB's.
