Mutineer's are cool. I used to race a Pintail in mixed regatta's with them and CL-16's.

Pintails are pretty cool.  Just about the same size as a Mutt, only a foot shorter and narrower.

Doesn't matter how you look at it...it is a kiwi who has won the cup... five times in a row now.... only once for the kiwis... but hey....still a feat in itself....He is now even better, stats wise, than good ole Dennis the Menace.. :P

seriously though..that was one of the most amazing comebacks...even if I question a few moves made by Team NZ...there were some blatantly stupid maneuvers (and some more subtle ones)  that a top class skipper (these guys are top top of their game) really doesn't make in my mind.... but not with standing.... that was an amazing effort by the US team....

Fast!

20 kts. plus.  Sometimes over 30 kts.  :O

I haven't seen much more than 10 kts. in my boat (as measured by GPS, anyhow) and that was in 15 kt. winds with ~ 500 pounds of rail meat, hiking WAY out.

You are correct, they are on hydra planes.

There was a Foiling  Moth at the race I was in on Saturday.  I always wanted to try sailing one of those.
