X-52 Finally Died
« on: October 28, 2013, 11:57:32 AM »
Good day.

My X52 finally died after 8 years of use..... I am looking at the 65F, any thoughts? As far as recommendations go I am thinking about split throttles, mostly because I was unable to toggle throttles like I used to with the clutch, following one of the updates.

Thank you.

Yep.  3 X52's in 6 years.  Currently using one that is cobbled together from all three sticks parts...little tape, little glue, and a soldering iron. :)

I'm currently using the X-52 Pro. It's excellent!

I find they last longer if they don't get pulled off the desk frequently....

my last Ch was working ok, 8-9 years;  I abused it bad, punch it when Paccer used to kill my missun goon and I got mad, stirred  it, flood it with beer and coffee;  few months ago some button i use for views failed and I got a new same CH fighterstick, ;  it's gone in 4-5 months; and I didn't play much.  looks  like they don't build this Ch  same quality anymore.

If you like the idea of the X65 look in classifieds...I posted my TM Cougar with the FSSB force sensing mod...same idea as the X65.
Going by "Hoplite" now. :)

Besides you and semp, I heard the same from someone else not long ago. That would be a shame as CH has been the gold standard for years now.

My CH is 3 years old now.. The only failure is the hat switch on the throttle.
