Is there something to shoot at, or are all those guns just for show?

Yeah, multiplayer battles with ships you build yourself is what I am gathering is the goal. Hopefully some kind of AI campaign or something too

there are already assault rifles and mining tools in the game but they are not functional yet, so I am guessing there will be an FPS element too

looking forward to future updates

this is why having kids is great  :old:  there are some brilliant Lego sets these days...and train sets...and NERF GUNS!

although i guess having nephews would probably be less stressful and expensive ;D

And the 15 hours I put into a ship disappeared :cry  Anyone experience the game crashing and then a blank slate when you try to reload your game?  You may want to have more than one backup file just incase this happens to you.

Made myself a carrier with a mass of 34,000,000. Its on steam under Aircraft carrier USS Grant ( my name for it ) if anyone wants to sail/fly her. I don't know the first thing about cv's but I'm pleased with it, the fighters are so fast too. I'll be making a second hull skin with mine laying capability, so its still in progress.

I like it. Did you notice any frame rate issues with such a large craft?

The only problem I have is draw distance, it doesn't like showing the hull properly. Everything else is sweet, it flies so fast and with almost 170 gyro's its a nimble thing.

Man that looks awesome, you got the tower just perfect. So much love goes into building something that large.

Been a few months and I played again yesterday, happy to discover they've made the weapons functional on small ships. Lots of other cool updates I hadn't seen.

Made a heavy assault fighter
