where have you been? havent you seen the vtards run past you without even looking at you but instead of yelling "sword, sword, sword", they yell "bomb, bomb, bomb".
semp

Hmmm.
Two questions.
#1 Would it be possible to have the next gen consoles play on the same servers as we PCs do? (There must be something making it impossible, perhaps different programs?) Just curious.
#2 While the idea is intriguing, and the next gen consoles could handle it. What do you guys think the costs would be for this?
NO NO NO and NO
the day this happens the day I am 100% gone. XBOX gen has screwed this game up already
Seriously? The actions and immature nature of the players here are already sky high.
Think about it, most who play are adults 18+ (most are seniors). Yet they act like children. You would think that by the time you are near your "elder" years that you would learn patience or tolerance. Even how to type .squelch <name>. It really is amazing to me how the community acts, as a whole, both to outsiders and to each other. Bashing each other over the head with purses, words flying etc. Then the newer generation is introduced and you call them out on the carpet for the same things that you guys do

I think something that HTC will have to do though, is to expand the limitations of the squelch list. (So if it's say.. 20 now, expand it to 100 or more). I have only used the squelch system once, so I don't need it. But for those who use it, will definitely be thankful.
While bmused was talking about Halo (Which is completely different than Aces high), he does have a point. The maturity level of the xbox/playstation crowd is... low. Not to mention HTC would be exposing their community to the horrors of PS/XBOX community. (I would write a long article on that alone). To keep it short, go search about it on youtube

But, perhaps the community doesn't reflect the game entirely. Take Call of Duty for example: Same engine (For what, 4 games now?), similar/same weapons, similar/same storyline.. and the community went from game to game, and yet it still sells well. So perhaps those in that "console community" are used to themselves and it won't effect their gameplay.
It is a unique thought, that I don't believe has been on these boards.. ever. I think we should look at this and not be too hasty.
