Ridiculous.  It is a choice to tune 200, no one makes you do it.  You already knew you could detune it.  Why didn't you?  Are you afraid of what people are talking about and maybe they are talking about you so you just gotta see what they are saying?  Seriously?

My advice: Just gotta have a thick skin if your gonna play on 200. If you get trolled, I just laugh at it. If the troller is a cool person they'll laugh back, if not it then laughing it off will piss him off even more. It's a win-win scenario.

My own way.. that's a riot  . I personally don't give a rat's prettythang and wasn't asking Hi-tech to shut down anything. if you read my other replies you would note that it is more of a philosophical rant. To get opinions and to "salt the wound" as it were. and yes it might be healthy. I thought about making a post on "How to make the internet "paper tigers" and "cartoons ego fliers" to shut the hell up on 200".. but that title was too long lol.

I do enjoy the social side of 200   with the courteous and respectful players  , they just seem to be outnumbered by flamers   !

and to reply to your comment. If we all "just worried about ourselves" and did'nt work to make things better or even approach that arena... well you wouldn't have a nice little video game to play now would you?

people are not quit this game because some people are being rude--detune 200 and YOU won't have a problem---i've been playin for 7 years...i've been pm'ed every name in the book--but i'm still here-and i will stay here

yeah when it comes to you perching for glory kills, but you always start the 200 banter with stuff like, pwnd, learn to fly etc. Perhaps you are not aware but you do not have a very good reputation fro,m what i have heard on channel. vulcher, picker, are two of the most used along with, there is ack ack sitting on his perch again waiting to kill off low and slow. Then u always seem to briing up DA. you must really like f3 mode. It turns the whole affair into War Thunder arcade. I will never DA because of that fact alone

now for the compliment, i have seen you do some great stuff in that 38 and the screen software you support is good toejam. If only you could be a bit more humble...

Yep... Had a few of those in the past ...most of the ones I get are quite funny though.  
...and like I said, I just squelch the ones that annoy me, or let them rant on and have a good laugh about it...  

I think I would find the game to be pretty boring without 200...usually pretty funny at times...

You won't fly in the DA because you know you'd get your arse kicked, you use F3 as a convenient excuse to hide your limp wrists. 

I usually only talk on 200 either to greet friends or respond to the idiots like yourself that whine after I've shot them down.  In fact, I've never initiated any conversation with you at all on 200, it's always been you initiated the crap talk with me after I've sent you to the tower.  You even do it on the forums.  The simple fact is, you're not any better than the people you accuse, in fact in most cases you're worse.  You're a poor loser and it shows with your whines on 200.

As for the reputation I've 'gained', well, I really don't give a rat's arse.  It's not my fault people hate to be shot down by me, maybe if they'd take the time and stop whining and instead channel the butt hurt into learning how to fly and fight, then you and the others wouldn't be so quick to cry and maybe even put up a bit of a challenge.

You may not have encountered me yet if you think Ack Ack is perched for kills.  Or maybe you have but then I have no idea what your in game handle is.  Most of the time, you wont see me coming, you wont see tracers, you will be flying merrily along, thinking your completely safe and then           TOWER   !!!

I understand what the OP is saying. It has more to do with the clowns that go over board harassing people. Many like tuning 200.... all the cool kids do it!    So now you are constantly hammered by some of the biggest "mouths" in the game. Us "old timers" know about squelching players, but do newbies? How many newbies quit the game never to return before they find out about the squelch and report functions?

The report function has it's own problems as "nobody wants to be a tattle tail". Here's a new guy trying to fit in and word gets out that he's reporting people.... let the shunning begin! I know the report function isn't something other "know" you did other than HTC, but do the newbies?

I understand a good taunting, a little bit of ribbing is all part of the game. Your going to have it in ANY game that there is "competition". However, some of the sewage we see these days are wayyyyy over the top. Thats what has to be gotten rid of, not channel 200, just the load mouths.
