:lol Bear, I'd expect you and Slash to help squaddies get over it, not wallow in it. C'mon now.  :aok

Are you responsible for every post your squaddies make? No one is wallowing in anything..well.. maybe you. Besides, Slash isn't a squaddie anymore.

Blue went away as have 1000s of other.. and 1000s more will replace this one..

Why the post if not to draw attention in a passive/aggressive way?

Kinda like using some sort of "code" to express your displeasure with something instead of just being man enough to come out and say it.

Yet another whine has been recorded.

What whine?

He intentionally put something offensive in his signature in order to get himself kicked out.  HTC enforced the rules and gave him the PNG he clearly wanted.  The OP started this thread to call attention to it in order to try to make HTC out as the villain.

When you break the rules you face the ban-hammer, simple as that.  The best way to affect change is probably from the inside using the systems at hand, rather than getting yourself thrown out.  Making HTC out as the bad guys for enforcing rules will likely also get you nowhere but the door.

Nice story, but not how things happened. That was a parting message for HTC.
So pretty much suicide by moderator was the way he wanted to go out? That's(to me) pretty selfish in that it put stress on the mods for no reason why not go out gracefully as others have done? I liked Blu but forcing thie issue IMHO isn't a very cool thing to do.

"Much respect and good luck my friend" translates in to someone being a villain?

No, I saw the post by the OP 3 posts into the thread that was "rule 4'd", and it was entirely his point to vilify HTC.

Not what happened. He quit before the post.

I was referring to the PNG, as that is what I saw happen.

Before you all do the AoM dogpile thing, I was answering about the PNG.  For the record, I have no problem with Blu or AoM.  He (like many AoM folks) was a good stick and was always respectful to me in game, even when I shot him down.  He also clearly had some artistic talent which should be respected.  It's too bad he quit and decided to fire a parting shot resulting in a PNG.  But I certainly am not going to support any HTC-bashing over it.

Let me say it again. BluBerry quit the game. Mods had nothing to do with it. I never saw his BBS post, it was after the fact anyway.
