Screw what the world enjoys. I don't identify with any of those cultures, and even screwed up, we're better off than a lot of the world.

Baseball and beer are all I need.

And that really sums up what the world thinks of america too.

Have a look outside your borders (country not county) and you might enjoy what you see.

Here in Aus, NRL (National Rugby League) & AFL (Australian Football League) are the 2 most popular ball games. Football (soccer) has overtaken Rugby in the last 5 years to sit at number 3. I dont count cricket in this list as Test Matches can last 5 days and as such you cannot really compare it to the others which last around 80-90 mins.

Baseball, Basketball, American Football & Nascar are all shown here on different channels, and have had marketing campaigns, but have never really caught on. In-fact, Basketball which was growing in the 90s has now, shrunk and many local NBL teams have folded.

Some people are total morons

That's professional baseball.  People who get paid to play it.  Soccer is a fine sport but not difficult or costly which is why so many countries can play it.

look up the 20 highest  paid players in the world.

well considering that in most countries the national sport wasnt "created" in that country, then perhaps they do look outside their borders once in a while.

I agree.

Overpaid nancy boys prancing about in a field trying to kick a ball between two posts while falling over a lot, crying and complaining "Ref!  He hurt me!  Tell him!  Waaaah!"

That's because you don't understand it

Soccer?  People running around kicking a ball?  Booooooring.  Kinda like watching NASCAR only there are wrecks

I lived in Toronto for 14 years and became a huge Blue Jays fan.  Then we won the World Series, twice...in a row.  After that it dawned on me what a complete waste of time it was and how actually boring the game is.

My collection of cards was given away and so were the sticker books a buddy of mine and I did every year from 1987 to 1993.

Hell, the two of us actually worked at Exhibition Stadium cleaning up after the games.

Baseball is a game I know well.

World Series?  lol  The World plays soccer, not baseball.

Yeah they do the same with Football as well, Superbowl winners refer to themselves as world champions.  It's all due to America's inferiority complex, they have to over compensate like the 5 year old kid who's dad lets him win at checkers jumping around proclaiming himself champion of the universe.   ;) :P :D

So many Euro/Brit backseat world drivers.  Just sit in the back seat and enjoy the ride.  You've been relegated to that since 1950.
