<S> Latrobe, I've fought against you several times and I've had a blast every time, and I'm pretty sure I lost all of them but one or two sir. You were/are a rare breed of person that everyone will miss. I hope to see you return again sir. Take care, be safe and have fun.  :salute

Here is a little song for you and your future sir  :airplane:

Have him let you do it with the gunner in the Storch. :)

Take care, Latrobe.  Hope you get the itch again.  I was out for 10 years and decided to play again.

You have a great attitude, bud, and the game could use more folks like you. :)

You have always had a go no matter what the odds or circumstances. One has to admire that. I fully understand your frustration and share your sentiment on "runners". Thanks for the fights, both won and lost. keep well <S>. I hope you return at some point.

Sorry to see ya go latrobe, a true gentleman and one of the most worthy opponents in the game.

Thanks for the tips, the great fights and some of the best AH training films there are.

One, you cannot name a falsehood I have typed.

Two, calling a man a liar sans evidence when not in his *physical preference*...let's just say that says a lot more about courage and character, or lack thereof, than anything one can do puttering about this video game.  :devil

Today we are stuck with score hounds, and lemming rolling bases.
There are fights to be had when online numbers are decent. Latrobe's statistics and film record indicate a high probability that the game has become too easy for him, which leads to eventual boredom and burnout. But it is not really the fault of other players. Your consistently low rate of killing and complaints about how other people are ruining the game indicate, to a high degree of probability, that you are having the opposite problem. I continue to enjoy the game and willingly pay good money for something I can only log onto 2-3 days a week. Perhaps the middle path is best, as it is in many things, and the moderately skilled enjoyed the game more than people at either extreme end of the spectrum. Or perhaps the *attitude* of viewing *any* tactic the opposition uses as an ACM puzzle to be solved, instead of "OMFG look what the dweeb is pulling!" makes the game more enjoyable.

EDIT: I hope you take to heart my advice about how to adjust your attitude to improve performance and enjoyment in AH. I really, sincerely do. You'll enjoy playing more, and thus you will be more likely to continue financially supporting my favorite game instead of one day posting a topic like this and riding off into the sunset with your $15 per month.

"Crikey, sir. I'm looking forward to today. Up diddly up, down diddly down, whoops, poop, twiddly dee - decent scrap with the fiendish Red Baron - bit of a jolly old crash landing behind enemy lines - capture, torture, escape, and then back home in time for tea and medals."

 :salute Latrobe!

It's been a pleasure flying with and against you all of these years! I wish you well in your future endeavors and will miss your contributions to the game. You are, sir, and always have been, a polite and generous player.

Nah he logs on throughout the day but he is most commonly online 12-3pm EST and again 7-9pm EST. So EU Prime Time and US Prime Time. I think that is EU Prime Time. . .

Latrobe, you are the least hypocritical player in the game. You do as you say, and remain polite to those you disagree with. Aces High is much poorer without your presence. I don't say that lightly, I will miss having you around.

Well said Delirium. Hate to see you go Latrobe. I have enjoyed your videos very much.  :salute
