Sir, I wouldn't argue with the desire to have more planes to play with. I found the aircraft available to us Japanese pilots to be much more effective than you might think. The first one I got 3 passes on the B29's and last week I got 2 passes on them. Not suicidal tail chases, passes. Before this series started there was some grumbling about the impossible job the Japanese would have, and I have found that not to be the case. I think my squadmates would agree with me. Granted, if the B29's had come in at 30k there would have been a different outcome and only one pass would have been possible. This has been a great and fun event.
So, you guys had no problem intercepting the B-29s? I believe it after reading the logs. After the interjections from a few of the normal Axis flyers to introduce restrictions to allow for the insufficient IJN/IJA plane set, it really wasn't needed.
