Buy Vorpx and download Opentrack (not the railroad software. Do you already have trackir5?

I do not have TrackIR at all...

I think you have to go to the mapping screen and set up each axis. Start with a 1 to 1 ie 2 points and straight line. You can adjust when everything working.

On first screen save a profile using freedom I think. I am not at my computer so working from memory.

Did you get Vorpx?

I think you may have more luck getting Vorpx to work first then tracking. That's the way I did it anyway.

Ok, so is this worth the expenditure right now, or do I wait a while??

If you like a little tinkering, yes. VERY worth it.  If you dont like to tinker a little, wait for the production version.  (of course the production version may need jsut as much tinkering, if it is not implemented natively by Hitech)

Yea, 6-8 weeks is conservative too.  I lucked out and found a guy selling one that was in my RC aircraft club.. it made him sick to his stomach, and he didnt feel like tinkering to make it work with the games he likes.. so I picked mine up from him.. granted I paid him what he paid for it (350), and it was used, but there wasnt a mark on it, and I didnt have to wait 2-3 months! LOL
