Grassy Fields
« on: February 15, 2015, 06:28:50 PM »
If you have been playing this latest FSO (Karelia) - you have seen some really nice looking grass fields instead of the normal everyday runways we see all over the MA.
I wish we could see these as an addition to the MA maps - mix em up - have some small and medium fields being grass field layout instead of the same old same old.

Not keeping tabs on what HTC is working on? :)  Last I heard, they had grass strips for the new engine and they will be in the MA. :D  I could be wrong, at which point I agree with you that there should be some grass fields added. :aok

I had a lesson on grassy field landings in FSO last night.   I came in a bit too fast and too hard for my poor La-5 and smashed up my landing gear trying to re-arm.  Taught me a lesson on how a nice smooth runway landing and a grassy field landing might be 2 different things!

Wishing for some of this:

Ron White says you can't fix stupid. I beg to differ. Stupid will usually sort itself out, it's just a matter of making sure you're not close enough to become collateral damage.
