Had epic fights with Shane in the days, LA7 Vs D40. I don't think he was that good considering the plane he was flying and I'm a middle of the road guy. But we had a lil rivalery and both had a great time when we crossed patch.

JuGler Was really good in the p-47's. Lilmak will give you a fight also. I remember when Lilmak used to fly rooks we bumped into each other quite a few times. It was really fun. BTW what happend to JugLer?? I bumped into a guy name Huklebry the other day and he was flying the P-47. It was a great 1v1 fight. I wonder if thats Jugler lol. I doubt it.

Also creton. He was a tough fight for many years. He'd kick my are for a long time till I finally got everything down. He's still a tough fight. I'm sure he is a bit rusty when he returns, but overall he was a great fight and tough competition

Try this...I'm flying back with 5 in a Spit IX.  I look up and there are two MaryJUGs at 10K looking down on me.  One was JUGgler and the other was LilMak.  I was 2K from my base.  JUGgler killed me after about 2 mins of rolling around on the deck while LilMak watched.  Then, I upped again and headed out.  JUGgler watched while LilMak beat me.  We did that till they ran out of gas and I didn't win one.  I think I had been in the MA for about a month.  I've got that film somewhere but holy hell it was death by 47.

No, Huk is not JUG but Huk is way old school.  Just ask him when you see him next.  He might tell ya who he is.  He is one of the people Skyrock talked about in the DA with Bighorn, lol.  Im not sure Skyrock even knows who he is.

Using dueling to determine who is "best" in a particular ride is a bit misguided. Dueling same-planes is almost entirely a matter of ACM knowledge and execution, with the actual characteristics of the plane and one's knowledge of those characteristics, at least in my opinion, not having a large impact on the fight. One anecdotal example was in one of BaldEagl's first dueling tournaments, where in the final round Grizz beat me in the 51, and I beat him in the K4. Yet, in an MA environment I would feel 10x more comfortable in a 51 than a K4, and vice versa for Grizz.

This is probably the most accurate summary in the entire thread. Once it becomes same plane vs. same plane, it's mainly just pilot skill.

That being said, I think the following fly their planes better than most in the MA:

109E/F/G - Pluto
110G - Wraithe
109K-4 - SunsFan
D9 - BlkJck31 (throwing him in here as he's the best opponent I've faced yet in a D9)
F4U-1 - Rud3boi
F4U-1a - Violator
Ki-84 - JUDAS (no one else comes close overall in this plane)
LA-7 - JOACH1M and DrBone
N1K-2 - 2cmex
P-47M/N - YUCCA
P-51D - TonyJoey (by far)
Spit 8/9 - Bruv119
Tempest - 2cmex
Yak-3 - Kruel (he just started flying it, but he flies it better than anyone I've seen)

I'd say anarchy is the best 262 stick currently. Flametux is a pretty decent pilot(I wouldn't consider him elite) but I haven't seen anyone who has been as proficient with the yak9t's cannon than him. Biggamer is the best F6F stick I've run into(him and Alpha81 are a very effective wing pair).

Its funny that Skyyrs says that, because I was just thinking the other night "there's no one who's really exceptional in the Yak3" Best Yak3 stick I can think of(whom Ive fought) is Gp5, but he really isn't anywhere near dominant. Orelle is the only decent Yak9U pilot I've come across, but he isn't aggressive enough to put the fear of god into me when I know he's in the area. I haven't run into Kruel and his Yak3 yet, but If he flies it half as well as he flies that LA7, than I can see skyyrs point.

I don't think we ever fought in AH, at least not that I recall.  However, we did run across each other a few times in AW when you were /IT\.
