  this a before pic INK it's a cover up of a blue river with a single rose with my  ex wife's name in the river. .it was done at a bike rally ..the cover up was done by free hand with a  Walkman radio motorized homemade tat gun with a pen cap for a guide and a guitar string for a needle lol the Liz part ex gf was done by hand with a sewing needle and regular pen ink. .the after pics will post Fri

my first 4 years tattooing was with a homemade "gun"...walkman motor and E string....

I have done full back pieces with that single needle  :rofl :rofl


almost all the tatts I have were done with a homemade gun....I did them, although not my right arm.



good luck man...that's gonna be tough if they dont use the right design.

When I could play I designed and sold these and similar structures .  Lost my usual calm reserve one day at the bosses lazy jerk of a son and spend three years way underemployed (ya stocking groceries when your 50 is a SUCK job that will make you take a lot of stuff at a decent one) until I landed a decent job selling stuff made from this .

It's been a long hard crawl back from living from less than paycheck to paycheck but I'm grateful for the opportunity and I've had some fun relearning CAD so I can do my own designs and possibly sell them on the side. I've got 10 in the hamper for friends and family that were supposed to be cut two weeks ago but I pushed them back because we got busy.

  ok INK 1st sitting  5 hours 2nd sitting to make eagle white and do touch ups and corrections my only regret is forgetting to put in the Arizona memorial but working on it

I actually like the overall theme but frankly I'm not to impressed with the artistry.  The Eagle looks like crap.  Sorry

I'll be honest Zoney the eagle needs work the smoke behind the pony needs work the cockpit on the poiny is to thick and shaped wrong and the mini pony and 109 fighting and in flames is lame but as a cover up on  a cover up it's a compete success and some of it can  be fixed overall I'm happy he nailed the landing

it looks better then what you had....by far....
yet Zoney is right.....

 that guy is not all that good...he can put in ink ok...the sky blue is solid the WW2 is mostly solid....The Jima part ehh....
just not very artistic...

but whatever it is 1000% better the what you had... :cheers:
