Exactly, so when numbers are very low and only 2-3 can resupply, its simply a boring neverending task.

Its actually worse than it used to be.
- Player resupply was much more efficient back then, today it's only 4 minutes per drop.

Thats cause you'll never understand. Your mind will always take the debate side even in the face of common sense & pure logic. You were trained to think opposite of majority.

I am not a lemming, is the main reason.   I am able to think for myself and not run to daddy every time a "they have to play my way" idea arrives.    When you do, it is called whining.

What you and the OP fail to realize is that:

1.) Your mind should be able to remember where the fronts were, prior to HQ going down.   But why?   When you can be lazy and eliminate cognitive thought processes.
2.) By committing some to the HQ raids, they forgo that many players which could be better served attacking or defending a base/CV.   So take advantage and attack a field.
3.) Your post and the OP defies common sense and pure logic.

Lol, I joined the Bish last night just to put down that lousy Pizza map that set up the Rooks to lose due to the proximity of High alt Bish bases to the strats/HQ. So the new map is up, some monster map I dont even know what its called, and the first thing one of the Bish call for "with about 40 players in the game" was to attack the Rook HQ.

This game is going to die. No doubt about it. Its actually quite dead already.

2.) The current problem with these "HQ raids" are, it's just one guy a huge majority of the time.  So it is just ONE player that isn't attacking/defending.

It's a balancing act.  Right now, it's too easy.  But if HTC makes it too hard, then you will very rarely see anyone hitting something that required time and money to implement into the game, and gives little reward to the players.  3-4 lanc requirement to bring down, 2x auto-ack/puffy, 2-4 manned guns, 2-4 manned flak batteries.  I think this would be a step in the right direction.

I don't know if your playing these days K, but it isn't that simple. Large maps with fewer players means what little attacking is going on is spread out and very fluid. If the attack is spotted and fails they don't continue to attack, they bail/auger and up some place else to try for a quick grab there. It isn't about fighting, it's about a quick smash and grab now. With HQ being down 15 minutes to an hour these days a lot of bouncing around can happen. Picture playing "wack a mole blind folded.

HQ attacks are more often than not a single player (which is the biggest problem with how HQ works right now), also if the single player is careful they can get to most HQs with out setting off a base flash and only flashing the HQ on their run. We have no plane that is fast enough to up and get to HQ to defend it if the player does this, so there is no defense.

Not at all. A single player shouldn't be able to effect how everyone has to play. Just because some bozo want's to piss off Rooks and drop our HQ (and this is the biggest reason it is done), we now have to play wack a mole blind folded or spend 30-60 minutes flying supplies to HQ to get it back up. Neither thing is something I like spending $15 a month to do.

Some people speak about the HQ as if we had the same HQ settings, effects, player numbers and resulting impact as we had 10 years ago. On top of that, many are judging from their comfy US primetime chair "just ask there the battle is" ... "just resupply it" ...

But in the end, it doesn't matter. Many things are going to get changed next version, and nothing until that  :old:

Its just a couple players for some reason take great joy in killing the radar with virtually no way to stop them, almost like it's some big momentous accomplishment knowing it just pisses a bunch of people off.

Not all Bish, only the few same individuals who also say "Scr*w those low numbers, we need population to grow, HTC !" and f*ck others fun with HQ feature when numbers are the lowest(on purpose, thats the most pathetic part of the story),thus make new ppl+some others leave..., the same few hypocrits with a negative I.Q. :huh

Yes. One of them talks about himself performing this great feat in the third person.

Instead of playing for another hour as planned, I logged off last night when HQ went down.

I quit resupplying objects in AH. It's boring.

Its an issue.  Doesn't matter if players should accept and adapt or if they are valid in their squeaking.  If its an aspect that causes this much whining and causes folks to log off, its an issue.

The choices are:

1) Live with its effect on game play and the whining.

2) Change the game code.

3) Change how humans are coded so they accept it better.

We are doing #1, #2 is likely in the works and #3 is one of the top suggestions, but I have bad news for those suggesting it.

True, humans do seem hard-wired to whine (some anyway).  ;)

(It takes something more significant to drive me to log. Usually it involves food or sex.)  :D
