Go, Huskies!  Man, that was impressive.

Rip, you got to see it live, eh?  Awesome!  :aok

Now, I'm looking forward to the Michigan / Wisconsin game and hoping Michigan does well with such a tough opponent.

I was on TV! Okay, nosebleed, camera panned my section...;)

Browning, starting as a freshman last year was incredible. This year he play QB like a veteran. Great last name too. Wish we had a WR named Remington..."Browning to Remington! BOOM! TD!"

The Ohio State University beat Rutgers today  (Rutgers is the oldest college football program in the country)  58 to 0.

Some facts to ponder that may mean nothing to some, or are valid to others.

Urban Meyers record at OSU is 59 and 4 in his fifth year.
The OSU Defense has allowed only TWO touchdowns all year.  The others scored were by kick returns and interception.  None while the Defense was on the field.  The defense only gave up 33 yds. rushing to Rutgers.
OSU did not punt the ball once today.
JT Barett threw four more touchdowns today......earlier this year he threw seven in a game.
The OSU Offense had 669 yards of offense today..........and.  Since Urban Meyer has been Coach they have not lost a regularly scheduled away game....evah!

It's early but the youngsters playing (only 6 returning starters from last year) seem to be learning at a quick pace.  Fun to watch the kids grow!

OSU schedule favors them to wing the BIG10,  They travel to Camp Randall in a couple weeks, but I don't see them losing. After that they basically coast until the MSU game and then Michigan.

The Badgers did not play clean ball today, and only lose by 1 TD.   I think OSU is certainly the team to beat in the BIG10.

Time will tell.

The Badgers D is legit, if they can get a running game going to help their young QB they can be a serious contender for a playoff spot(if the SEC or B!G gets 2 teams in which depends on the PAC and ACC consuming each other and Wisconsin doesn't lose any more games they have OSU in 2 weeks I think). I am already penciling in the Badgers to win the West would love to see a rematch with Michigan in the championship game, but OSU is looking really good and could be a rematch there too. I am soo happy to see the Washington hype was real. Tennessee continues to give their fans grey hair last year they had some heartbreakers this year they are giving heartbreaks out, I think they will win the East, they apparently just don't like to win big or easy. Say good bye to FSU having a shot this year the Louisville loss was bad but manageable but I dont think UNC is going to make much more noise this year. Rip did you boat into Washington? Always thought the idea of a floating tailgate was awesome.

Watched the Washington game last night.  Great game to watch!  And I was rooting for Washington.  Watched a lot of games today on ESPN Goal line.

Although I also root for Tenn. in the SEC they were lucky to win today.  Minnesota and Penn State was a great game to watch also!  I watched Kentucky kick a

field goal to take the early lead over Alabama and said to myself "welp.......that's all they're going to score."  Kentucky will be demolished.  Watched the Michigan Wisconsin

game also.  I did not witness either team having great athletes.  It was a good game by both well Coached teams.  Maybe it's just me I didn't notice any speed on either team.

Oklahoma beat Texas.  I don't know what to read into that.  Stanford is lacking athletes big time.  I see nothing spectacular out of the PAC12. Washington reminds me of Wisconsin,

which isn't bad. PAC12 won't have a representative in the playoffs methinks.  Unfortunate that ever since Pete Carroll ruined the USC program USC has disappeared.

PAC12 at one time was strong. It's a pity that it was once a great conference and now it has disappeared.  Oregon was and is only flash and dazzle.  They play a physical opponent they lose.

The key to beating Tennessee is to never get the lead on them....

I didn't miss it. That's one.  I didn't see a lot from Michigan's offense against a slower Wisconsin defense.  Sure Wisconsin is tough.  They are big upfront, well disciplined but unfortunately slow.

Hey Brooke I love the BIG but seriously only 14 points?  The game in Columbus is going to be great!  Can't wait and OSU has to travel to Wisconsin also.  OSU goes to Michigan State also.

The least amount of points the Buckeyes have scored is 45 points.  The most 70 something.  Fun watching Louisville and Clemson tonight also.  Whatever anyone says it's a long season.

Michigan is due though. What......they haven't beaten the Buckeyes in how long?  It's just good to see the BIG as a conference as a whole  gain respect.  If it wasn't for OSU winning a few

national titles since 2000 the BIG would be completely ignored and with good reason.  Ohio State has made other BIG teams improve, or go home.  Glad they chose to improve.

BTW.......if history means anything the last time Wisconsin played OSU, and Wisconsin had a fantastic running back (all-American and 3rd ranked defense in the country)  OSU won 59 to 0

for the BIG Championship with the third string QB after Braxton Miller was hurt and JT broke his ankle.  Next game they beat Alabama, then Oregon.  Meyer is a great Coach.  The BIG is improving and I like the competition.

Yes, yes . . . we all know that Ohio State is a good team.  That is why they are ranked #2 currently.  I'm not arguing with that.

However, you posted that you didn't witness either Michigan or Wisconsin having any great athletes.

Michigan has plenty of them on defense, which you saw shutting down Wisconsin's offense:  Jabrill Peppers (well known as a top athlete), Jourdan Lewis and Channing Stribling (doing man-to-man coverage all night with their speed, and Lewis with what will probably be the year's most-impressive interception), Rashan Gary (2016's #1 recruit), Taco Charlton, and others.  Nope, you didn't see a lot of Michigan's athletic talent on offense, but you did at least a few guys make some great plays, like Darboh, Evans, and Smith.

OSU schedule favors them to wing the BIG10

Respectfully disagree. Strength of schedule is mostly a relative thing anyways. Remember that OSU's roster is one of the most inexperienced rosters in all of D1 college football right now. If OSU had a lot of veteran starters returning from last year, then our schedule would look easier.

At Oklahoma. At Wisconsin. At Michigan State. At Penn State. Along with other prime-time match-ups including Nebraska and Michigan at home. Our schedule certainly isn't impossible to win in, but not a cake walk either.
