Go to the programs list and you will see both links to both DX9 & DX11

Try running it in the DX9 mode and see if you have the same problem

Also, did you copy your AH beta settings folder over from the beta patch 41 to the new full version AH 3 pre-release install?

Its not a patch update but a new release. It should install to a new directory, IE: C:/Hitech Creations/Aces High III

Yeah thanks I just downloaded the full version. During which it asked if I wanted all the settings from II installed as well. How does this option work? Do ALL settings from II auto-install? I noticed my gun sights changed back to standard. I only ask cause I dont know when I'll actually have time to play. Thank you.

I haven't looked that close, but I think it's the controller mappings and maybe the head view settings. I use Track IR, so am not sure about the head positions.

I think there's new gunsights.  old ones may not work anymore.  they may have to be converted.  but the skins you can transfer manually.

I noticed that not all the settings transfer over.  I had to set up my mic and headphones again in the sound options, those settings didn't get imported I guess when I picked the option to import AH2 settings.

For the gunsights, I'm using Bustr's historical gunsight package that I had copied over from AH2 into the AH3 beta.  When I installed the pre-release version of AH3, I repeated what I did during the beta, just copied and pasted the "sights" folder from AH3 beta into the pre-release version.

only rank-perks-and achievements transferred over-gun sights-skins-sounds files have changed so you will have to redownload skins-pick new sights and adjust sounds
