what is your crowning AH achievement?

6V1  where I killed all the enemies. None the less, never even took 1 round from an enemy aircraft either.

Way back in the original AH, I came across my good buddy Mathman locked in an intense 1v1 dogfight with a F4U Corsair.  Since he was such a good friend, the only sensible thing to do was to dive in and steal his kill.

"System:  You have shot down HiTech"


Mathman gave me hell for years afterwards.

What one fight, moment or accomplishment do you consider the highlight of your AH career? 

For me, the accomplishment was being allowed to be staff in the Combat Theater, later Axis v Allied arena.  I believe I enjoyed every moment I spent there.  I made some of the best electronic friendships ever; gleaned a small sense of what the real men faced in the war; and seemed always to fly against talented, honorable opponents.  I don't think I'll ever forget those glorious days and evenings.  It troubles me still that I contributed to the dwindling of numbers there.

Everyone has some grand story that I can't even come close too...

 The very first time I actually got involved in the game and it's "events", was the "white knuckled" Battle of Britain.(BoB-2015?)  Hanging with a bunch of good chaps in the glorious machine called a hurricane, we hunted the huns!  I may not have lasted long once the enemy bombers were called out over the channel, but boy what a go!   

The second time this game got me "hooked" was another scenario. (Battle Over The Winter Line)Tried my hand with them bomber boys, came out to the hanger after the fourth frame, and the mechanix gave me an updated paint job. I was proud. Pipz Proud.
