Being a Bishop we regularly face high ENYs'.  I've seen it as high as 29.  So what?  I like P47s so I'll just switch to the D11..........or stay in it because I use it a lot anyway.

Guess some people log because they are afraid of a challenge or are occupied by having a higher score.  Either way they are limiting their experience in the game.

Gotta have the most fastest most run and guniest their is.  Cupcakes!

This ^^^^^^^

They cry until they get their way...I watch nits and rooks vulch with utter abandon with their 5 eny planes constantly...its not gonna stop them from getting kills if they vulch with a 30 eny plane...this is about not wanting to fly anything but a pony, this whole thread and subsequent threads about ENY are always about the pony

IMO the pony is junk...why the hell would anyone want to fly around and not fight but pick and zoom up into the stratosphere to reset and do it again is beyond me...perfect example was last night at the Fighter/Tank Town...everytime I encountered a pony, ( I was on for over 4 hours) they did one of two things...they ran to help or ran to ack...every time....now that didn't keep me from being picked by them as I was actually fighting...not flying around at 20k picking people on the deck that were actually having fun furballing, then zooming back to the stratosphere completely out of icon range to come back again 550 mph for another pick of a plane moving 150 mph in a turn fight with 4 cons...

Now take Vraciu for example...if what I just said above is applied to him...it explains the way he flies and cries all in one post...

You can take it to the bank...

Oh and keep the ENY how it is...the tears of the crytards sustain me... :ahand

People could spend more time playing the game than whining on the forums about things that HiTech isn't going to change anyway.

Keep ENY just the way it is
Your incessant whining just adds entertainment value to my gaming experience

The only real issue I have with eny is that if a team is a about to win a map, and a lot of people switch to be apart of the winning team, it creates an imbalance and makes eny kick in. So now you have to win the map with early war planes and ord, which makes it extremely difficult to actually take bases. If you are fighting a a side that had the majority of players defending that base, in order to stop a base win, you have to go up against La7s, 190Ds, and Spit16s with equal #s as you. So it makes it very very difficult for less experienced players to win the map.

It's sort of strange for me to see so many timid flyers in this game. You typically get less kills, have less fun, don't gain any practical experience in dog fighting, don't learn anything new, don't learn how to control the plane better. If you see someone like me flying a P51, I take it down and dirty, turn fight unsuspecting planes, and use it for more than just flying straight or running from trouble. You really can get so much more kills that way, and it will also typically give you a better K/D and score. The whole timid flying phenomenon is strange because it doesn't work if you don't really know what you are doing. I wish these fast runner type planes would just get perked so people choose planes that are better suited for combat, rather than the dive, pick, and run, type gameplay.

I have never seen that shown in any numbers that really make a diference. Anyone here for some time knows that it doesn't work that way anyway.
What i did see is the team with massive numbers (and thus ENY) winning the map because of it. First they have the numbers, and then they roll the map. And, of course, players on the losing end of the map simply logging off (" we suck!") in disgust, which again pushes the ENY up for the winning team.

From a base taking stand point, during prime time, ENY restrictions on the country with the largest number of players has very little effect with the exception of cutting off perked planes and GVs.  The number of players has the strongest influence in a map war when the player imbalance is large enough to have eny restrictions.

ENY does have a strong influence on base caping while the town goes untouched and maximizing kills is the most important element.  It doesn't stop it.  It just tones it down some.

That is why I suggest when a player imbalance occurs, you still shut down perked planes but still let planes like the P-51 fly but cut the scoring on the planes that fall in the eny restrictions. As an example an ENY restricted P-51 player still gets his plane but only gets say 2/3rds of scoring so if the player got 3 kills his score would only reflect two.  Then it is the player's choice to fly a score restricted plane or not.  Not saying that does not suck but it might suck less than not being able to fly your favorite plane.

I was on one day. Probably about 120 players on. We were 2 bases away from winning the war. Then ENY keeps getting higher and higher. Eventually we are at a 29+ eny. Our best chance was to up off the CV to capture the base. So we get about 15 - 20 people who I was desperately trying to get to capture the base. We can only use early war planes at this this point, planes that have no ord really to take down the Town. A6Ms worked alright, but it was no match. We were met with an equal # of opponents, all in EZ mode Spit16s and Niks, they just wipe out all the noobs. Couldn't keep the town down, couldn't get the ord from the planes we needed. This meant that after an hour of attacking, we still couldnt take it. A guy can only try so hard to coordinate his team and get people to participate. So, I realized then that the team with the most players, during low #s, really isn't going to be that much better if most players are inexperienced in harder planes and matched with enemies that can fly much better planes. If you have a squad that can capture bases and coordinate well, that's one thing, but restricting the planes during low #s really only gives one side good planes and the other crummy planes, which is lame when they just run away from you every time when you finally find someone to shoot at.

ENY wasn't the reason why you couldn't take the base.
