Did you read my later post? I apologize for the old screenshots, but they were honestly the best I could find with my limited knowlege of the board. And did you read the original post? I'm not slamming the game, I'm giving an honest opinion on why new players aren't staying. Now, I can forgive a few passionate players getting defensive, but an administrator taking disciplinary action before even messaging me first? I may have discovered another reason why new players aren't staying. I have discovered that this community (or at least a portion of it) is downright violent. As a community, and especially as an admin, don't you think that rather than tearing me apart because of my opinion, you should use diplomacy to try to change it? Right now, nobody here is giving me a good reason to put my money into this game.

You aren't here to put money into the game but to deter others from doing so.

There arent rooms that are open on a regular timed basis where people know that those rooms are available and that they are allowed to participate in them. H2H had this. If there was a room that was constantly open and had more than 4 players in it, that would become popular since people knew it would be there, and there would be people to fight. Also, most people probably just rush to click on the MA, without even looking at the top header.


Hell, you could even bring back the midwar arena, put in a much smaller map with maybe 5 bases on each team, and this would probably be very successful and have the same purpose.

Anyone is free to host a room. All you have to do is open one and keep it up to start the ball rolling. I believe they have number limits just as the original H2H did.

Man, I feel like I've just been sent to the gulag for speaking ill of the Kremlin. Anyways, there is no reason to get my blood boiling. I'm a person that believes strongly in forgiving and forgetting, and I don't plan to make any enemies. From now on, I'll try to keep my video game opinions to my self . Skuzzy, I did not know about the free "H2H" custom arena thing. Maybe if I can make a friend or two in the forums, I can fly in there for free. Can you show me, or send me, instructions on how to create one?

Wow, the N1k looks fantastic, the weather beaten used look is just great. Like it has been flying from some jungle airstrip. That texture makes it really jump out at me. SWEET! My eyes just drink it up!

The others look too "shiny new", don't seem to have the gritty wartime feeling like the N1k!

The "custom" arenas are not free, per se.  It requires a subscribed player to create the arena.  Once created, any player with or without a subscription can join.  Just want to make that clear.

Only a subscribed player can create a custom arena.

  You cant make a custom room unless you are a subscriber! But any subscriber can make a custom arena and then you can play for free,all you need is an account but you dont need to subscribe!


  I'm usually in the training arena most nights,there is no lack of training as some might think but there is a lack of players wanting training! I spent about an hour with a couple of players the other night,I show one of them a simple concept and a light went on for that player! All he needs do is work on it and pass some on to others in his squad. When this happens it gives me great satisfaction and the player often is successful afterwards.


  Those who think the learning curve is steep,are wrong,it's more a series of steps and plateaus! Learn a new skill,become proficient then on to the next skill,it almost never ends because of the diverse game play,large amount of players and the large play area that AH3 offers!

Morfiend, thanks for the tip! If there is one thing I have learned, it's that there is always more to be learned. I'll be looking for you in game after Christmas. Is your in game name the same?

Yes,I have kept the same handle since becoming a trainer!

  You can usually find me in the TA between 9pm and 11 pm most week nights,Fridays I actually play AH so I seldom do training that day but I'm always available to answer questions and assist in setup and basic computer tweaks....

 Warning I know just enough to really messup a computer...
