Usually they are trying to use some kind of weapon, that they don't know how to operate. They yell "Aloha Snackbar" and then blow themselves or their buddies up.

I was referring to the slogans used, Saudis, Emirates, Houthis, Iranians, matter not.
"Death the America" seems common to them all, even from those who are supposed to be our "allies". So, I have no sympathies for either side.

I see it as a proxy war between the two Regional Powers, SA vs Iran. Using age old tribal  rivalries of the minor players, as the catalyst. The world has seen this pattern repeated many times before.

Sad to see or hear of any USA resources being involved, even indirectly. Just don't want to be dragged into another mess! We have problems to sort out closer to home.

USS Cole is now patrolling the area where the Saudi frigate was hit.  Heh.  What better ship to fly the US flag in those waters, after what happened to her over 15 years ago now.  Fair winds to that ship and her sailors, and any other allied vessels in the area.

It was a suicide boat.  The Houthis said they "thought it was a U.S. ship".

As i said: the slogan can be heard in a lot of vids of houtis attacking saudi forces so that is not a sign of that they believed that it was a US ship.
