Got to tear up a lot of countryside from 1983-1987

Then you should know this little rhyme. Finish the last bit of each line.
Rough rough.....
Smooth smooth...

Hell yeah...the tape indicator on the turret ceiling for the recoil fluid.

rough rough not enough
smooth smooth you got to lose
rough smooth you're in the groove

That brings back memories....don't forget...wayyy too much and it goes to notch notch...need to cease fire immediately and lose some fluid.

Did I pass the GATE test?  lol

I joined the USAF in August of 1974.

Lackland AFB-Basic, Keesler AFB-Training School, Sparrevohn Alaska-Watching the russkies for a year and then finished up my enlistment at Luke AFB in Phoenix where I stayed.

Aircraft Controller.

Alaska was amazing but I was too young to appreciate it.  Sparrevohn was 150 miles west of Elemendorf, top of a mountain, aaand no wimmen for a year :(

Spent 4 weeks at Sparrevhon in 73 just before the Israeli/Arab conflict, I was on TDY from Elmendorf AFB.
