Favourite rides for the uphill fight

B25H for me you can clear your 6 and your teammates blow up tanks and out HO everything(we all know it happens) and takes a bit to bring down also great for LVT's

would anybody like to share their favourite rides for upping at a capped base.

Yak9u from a base further away if nobody is defending.

I fly it NOE to hide the darbar and icon and can usually get one before they realize I am there going 360mph.

If the enemy is not right on-top of the base, strafing the runway, a full set of B26 death-star style flying at the deck is probably the most effective way of defending it from the the air

KI84 is pretty awesome.  Accelerates fast, one of best climbers, good firepower, can out turn anything it can't out run and good vis.

LA7 or Yak-3.  Both are fast and have cannon, the Yak is small and hard to hit, the LA can get up to speed and be effective quite quickly.

If you get to choose it, then it's not really an uphill fight.    Some of the toughest fights tend to be whatever I get caught in low....

There is no fool proof plane.

Every time they design a fool proof plane someone comes up with a better fool. That's how I got here!

I16.  Seriously.  Small, nimble target. OK guns with the 20mm's, and it gives only a small perk reward to the player who eventually shoots it down.  Plus with an open cockpit there is no canopy glass to muffle any blistering comments about the enemy's sheep shagging capabilities you might feel the need to throw out there.
