does anybody have any info on Hooter?    1 day he was on next he was gone never to come back.

There used to be a GV'er with the callsign "Butcher." He was good friends with Hooter. Butcher told everyone of Hooters passing several years ago.

Butcher recently left a post he might come back to AH. If he does you can find out more details.

Hooter was a great guy and will be missed. I remember when he landed over 200 kills with a Panther G at the v134 spawn back
when we still had the Trinity map in the rotation. Players kept running him supps so he could keep the streak going.

A couple of names that just disappeared for me are Sads and GRIM.... I do not know if they passed or just stopped playing.... Sads was my first best fight of AH ...you know the one that you get to have about three turns before you die.... and GRIM with his HurriII .... was always a nice guy after killing me over and over.

Geez there are a lot of names on that list that I remember from flight sims from way back in the day. I haven't checked in here in a long time but I thought this might be a good one to read through till I read the list....so many folks that I have bantered with on the forums and in the game but good folks for the most part.

I know someone has already said it probably but I'll say it again wizzy and pipz!! And his in game name escapes me but he was a real bomber pilot in WW2 and used to go thru a checklist just like he did back in the day on missions.. Etec? No that doesn't sound right.. Someone help me out plz

yes I think it was ty Mr fork..I went to his memorial flight you think I would remember that..I went to 3 memorial flights in 5 months too many too soon..I hereby pass a law that no one else gets to die!!

68KO...  I flew in his memorial and it was very touching.  About a week after I was jacking with some film and he had said some (nice) things to me during FSO and I got serious chills.

I remember flying with him many times Toad - always eager to wing up and fly along right up to the end. I miss Charlie and think of him often.
