It appears even the drones won't go as low as 65 feet.
If the drones won't go lower than 65', why not just set tower radar to 0 feet then? Get it over and done with. Make NOE dead.

Cause 65' tower and 200' sector is like a having a hot fudge Sunday but no spoon. It just gets messy. 200' tower and 500' sector is like we're all having that hot fudge Sunday with a spoon but you're sitting in a Deuce moving troop hauler and the guy who's driving may be a noob and yer all cursin and swearing trying not to get messy.
I doubt you'll see this changed. The reason it was changed originally was because there were too many NOE/hiding type missions going on. I dont think the game play has changed back AWAY from that as more and more people try to avoid contact/fight now as much if not more than the did back then when they changed it.
I know why he put it in - but it went from "fairly easy" to NOE, to outright impossible, especially with drones...
I know why he put it in - but it went from "fairly easy" to NOE, to outright impossible, especially with drones... was a lunchbag letdown for those of us who would fly NOE.How about 100 ft? Maybe 150? But 65 feet is absolutely redonkulas - actually unflyable. I'm asking for a balanced approach to allow NOE - but earn it.
Good to hear. The challenge with NOE in faster machines like the Tiffy or any of the later war American attack planes is that at 300mph - a slight deflection you’re either in the water or way above 65’ - not a whole lot of wiggle room for error there. Better not sneeze , fart, or burp while flying...
