Lol....don't rage quit bro...

ROFLMFAO....

SMDH

CMSU

Come on now. Lunatic is ok.His basic beef is right on.... language can definitely limit new folks in the game. No matter if it is because of age or personal taste.

Just another of many things we can work on to help the game. That is for folks who wish to help.

I find it hard to believe that bad language or the usual rage PM/200 people have an effect that is measurable on retaining brand new people.

Way bigger fish to fry on that front IMO.

Everything counts....

You are buying a new truck. It has a scratch and dent. How many scratches and dents before you decide it isn't worth it?

Yeah, but a lot of the ideas the game is built around assume new players will be confused and scared by such ideas as "voice chat" and "text chat".  The average potential player these days is likely going to be a metric buttload more sophisticated than they were when the system was created.

Easy fix would be to stop X-country PMs.

Actually the simple fix would be to follow the rules and AH TOS, which most never pay attention to

This  ^^^^^

Besides, I have used cross-country PMs to salute opposing players and personally thank them for such a good fight.

I said new truck... :D

Of course once I get a new truck it will have scratches and dents as I use it as a truck. My current DD is a 2005 2500HD Diesel built and tuned to 500hp at the rear wheels( when in 2WD). 6" lift, 37x22x14s... white with more than it's share of ummm patina and 199k miles.

I drive my vehicles for quite awhile before I buy another.

200 isn’t the new guy not staying issue.  It’s the intolerable fights in the am when one side is crippled in the am with 25 eny planes and are chasing typhys and 190s until the European side logs on then it’s a steady gang bang on one side of which no one will up in.
Let’s start with the fact that this game hasn’t had enough players for a few years to warrant a good two sided war, much less a three sided war. Then let’s address the participation trophy spots that were built into the game like field guns and magically appearing wirbs, or the awesome 800 yd main gun shot from a t34 on a spit going about 250. 200 isn’t the issues. It’s the guys that get there feelings hurt when they are continually called out on 200 for running. Or the guy that gets it for upping the wirb at tank town when a good fur ball is going on.
Not sure what would happen if you guys had to go out into a new game that didn’t have all these participation awards and there wasn’t a mod that you could go to because they made you fight and picked on you cause you wouldn’t.
