You need to understand that being a small country we are ALL Kiwis, there is no them and us. The people that died are Kiwis. All religious faiths (and non-religious) here live and work shoulder to shoulder without hatred and as mates. This act is pure evil, pure hatred.

This has wounded us deeply. We are a pretty peaceful people. This piece of scum is not even of our nation. This is not something we wanted. This is a scar on our nation that will never heal.

The Deans Ave Mosque is just around the corner from where I went to school (Christchurch Boys High School). I grew up in Christchurch (don't live there now) so this is pretty emotional for me too.

We have had two of our family members visit and live in NZ.

The first was there for about two years and came back with more mutton and lamb recipes that I thought a normal person should have.

The second went with her Quaker group for a 12 week (I think) nature tour (I guess that is what it was).  As a direct result of her 12 weeks in NZ she decide to focus on geology in college and credits her love of NZ for that.

Both of these family members could not stop talking about how great the people and the land was.  (One of them brought me back this incredible big block honey comb chocolate bar.) 

They are just speechless right now.

The problem you've always had, when you go full blown conspiracy, is proving your 'facts' support your conclusion. In other words, if the conspiracy means that much to you (and I suppose it does since you take great pains to share them on the AHBB) then you find a way to prove them. You can't just randomly stack remote coincidences then say 'so there.' But then, I guess most conspiracy-heads aren't into that, from the merit of argument I'v e seen all over the internet.

You want to believe the guff you share so you will. I am merely inclined to call it for what it is and laugh, not provide some sort of online miracle cure to lure you to a saner perspective (so far there's been no indication that you are interested in such).
