The essence of the problem is the lack of players. If he had some more less skillful people to shoot down he might feel good about himself and stay but he finds himself on the receiving end of it instead due to the number of really good sticks here.

Ok, so tbh, I feel like a coward having written this thread and giving up. Marines never walk away from a fight. Never give up.  I've always dominated every game or sin that I've played.   And I understand the training diddly you mentioning you understand it takes time to master planes and understand the characteristics of each one I guess that I am very good at that always have been. At this stage with the level of play that all of you exhibit , No amount of training will fast track player up to your level than six months maybe not even a year. And I know this because this is the level of play I played it in other games. There is no substitute for 15 years of gameplay. And I realize that. After all I'm a dog fighter, I've been for a long time  Which is why ...........

I'm going back to playing war online Pacific. And since it is still a new and unknown game in the VR world with very little gameplay I'm going to make that game my Personal shark tank. LOL
So if you consider yourself a good dog fighter and maybe you shut me down 25 times consecutively because I would not give up the bass runway how are you shut me down with these in a dog fight with your perked up plans and Excalibur skills. If you think you're all that and a bag of chips and you have ER then come on over to Sam shortcake I mean I mean I mean what online Pacific . Everybody starts on a level playing field you get a P 40 and Japanese zero to start with. The only way to get the other planes is to earn them by shooting other people down. Sure it's  different slightly from aces high with no blackouts higher stall limits a P 40 that does 360 at the gate and a jab zero that turns on a speck of a dime little bit faster gameplay but he's the physics of flying on the same. I'm just curious if you are really that good or  if it's just having 15 years and in that environment.
so I guess this is me calling you out if you're really that good and you have your dinner come on over to the NASCAR of dogfighting where everybody's on a level playing field everybody's got to start over from scratch and earn their planes again. I'm just thinking maybe maybe I might get a few more kills maybe you'll find it I'm a little bit more skill than you thought it was or maybe no we kick your bellybutton there too Saam.. At any rate if you want to fly with me or against me or do you want to do some good dog fighting a shark tank then come and see me on WOP  if not I'll be over there shooting down Ai
Again super reiterating that the community of the pilots over here nothing but good good dude man and it's been an absolute pleasure flying with you and against you and I hope to see you in war online

More players would be nice but as it is you can't expect the newbies to find each other in the MA. It's better if they train together and duel each other. You don't need a full arena for that and you don't even need a paid account. You just need two new players who both want to learn and have fun doing it.

Knowing what to practice and practicing with a peer is the best way to learn while having some success.  So training first, to know what to practice, then practice basics with a player at your level. Then learn to work together because that's what works best in air combat.

If it will help I'll shoot you down some more.   :D

I understand your frustration but you're ignoring a lot of good advice.

Yes most of these guys are THAT good. They will most likely clean your clock in WOP too. Thats why I think you should post some films of your fights. The timing, flight model is all different in this game. What you think your doing right in here may very well be WAYYYYYY off and so you get shot down. Fly a few more flights, film them and post them so we can see what your doing.

I doubt very much that very many of these guys will fly in WOP tho FLS seems to be willing to kick your butt   :devil Even if your the best shark in that tank, you will most likely still be a minnow in Aces High unles you stick it out like the rest of and get good at it.

Honestly, the fixation on winning every fight is unhealthy. The frustration of losing every fight is manageable. Winning and losing fights is normal. And, there's always bombing (just don't make a habit of bailing rather than gunning). :D

I never could really understand players that let being shot down in this game get to them or players that could only interact via their egos (it really is just a game, man - a really challenging/pretending to be a WWII combat pilot game). As stated by many, AH is full of good sticks.

What it needs are more good players (yes, there's a difference).

I am on a lil during the day. Hit me up if you want to go learn. I learned a lot from shida who I regard as one of the finest and BEST pilot in the game during my three years here. Also got whooped on by cmex for three weeks straight who again is one of the best in the game and pulls no punches for new guys, which is what you need to learn. My first year in this game I got clobbered which made me want to fight harder. Don’t give up this easy.

Also get a stick even a cheap stick is better than those touch controls. I fly vr and tried those controllers for ten mins and removed the batteries and put them back in the box.

Just don’t give up that easy. These suckers are easy targets.

I find this guy comical. He doesn't take the time to learn.... so he wants everyone to go get on training wheels.

I would have been glad to help you here. You kind of burned that bridge with your huffy little attitude. Go get your floaties on and play WOP.

If you decide to learn and improve yourself instead of depending on easy game mode... come back and start over. Leave the attitude at the door.

This is a really good game that just simply takes practice. That takes time. You can improve quicker with help.... many here would be glad to help.

A lot of the time it has to do with breaking bad habits learned from easy games.

Why haven't you joined a squad?  There are over a dozen MA and FSO squads that can take you under their wing.

And forget about score for now, it is not a good indicator. Later maybe set a score goal in one category and try that. Good luck.

THIS.

Compete with YOURSELF, not others.   Get better in steps.

I learned how to survive first.   Learn to keep your energy and be able to extend (RUN).   Dip your toe in the water a little at a time, then as you get more familiar with the dynamics of the game you can put yourself into more and more difficult positions as you learn.

Dueling is also good practice.   I'll go with you any time, just PM me here.

This can help a lot!  Your squaddies would help you learn more quickly, as well as cover your butt in fights (especially if you help cover theirs).
