It's expected that Putin will use the date to declare war on UA so he can draft conscripts in large numbers.   Currently conscripts can't legally be used outside the country even though they are.  Even regular soldiers can simply quit or refuse to deploy legally and that is a big issue as it seems about 30% or more are doing so.  That is why units are operating at around 50% strength man power wise.  By declaring war Putin can force mass conscription and shoot anyone who does not want to fight.

Just check the national news for what they are saying/doing; you best sources to find these things are MSNBC, CNN & ABC (Disney), but CBS, NBC will also suffice.

Recent example: Yellen saying young black women have little other choice but to visit PP to fix their problem or face a life of poverty and low prospects.
