Please fix the eny problem

Not fixed in 90 days I regret to announce I will no longer support this game.

Im a 20 ENY plane(B17-B24) player. I run into ENY problems often with under 50 players in the MA and this has been going on for a long time. I do not restrict my play to 1 country and regularly find myself investing 4-6 hrs while playing, log, return, and forced to switch sides which is counter-productive to my previous time investment in-game.

This has been a complaint since ENY was instituted. Back then, there were too many people flying in arenas for the system to support. I remember trying to log in on squad night and having a tough time getting into the arena my squad was flying in because it was just too crowded. Nowadays, it seems like there is a real lack of people willing to pay to play Aces High. It seems people complained, were ignored, got fed up and left. HiTech dug in his heals and insisted people play his game how he wants them to play, not how they want to play. No problem with that, there are plenty of other options out there these days. Players voted with their feet. Don't think you will be any different. BTW, how many folks are in the main arena these days? I suspect that when there are four people left playing Aces High, one of them is going to have to fly an early war plane because the ENY system insists the sides be balanced.

Gonna need more context... I'm on at varying times (as knight) and it's rare for eny to hit that hit for any extended period of time... most often the side dealing with higher, prolonged ENY are bish in the early/mid morning when they can often have nbrs equal to the other two sides combined... plus a few extra.

Prolonged ENY conditions are created by and can only be fixed by players themselves.
 

Can't believe I agree with you,Sir! Auto Swap, seems to have helped out a bit?  With out those MF'ers, ENY would be More FUBAR! Most Impact..tied with 'Tower Sitters'.   AFK for hours? Team Players, they are NOT!!! Like how hard is it, to Exit Melee and jump right back in, when situation is positive? Eh..as far as my Observations go...Knights, Tend to log off when the Bish start rolling?  EXCEPT YOU!  We haven't fought against each other for Months?   Not a FAN of constant Belittling on ch.200, as you are prolific in that area. You have NOTHING on Vraciu 🤣   First Squelch of the day.most times!  That in AND OF ITSELF..breaks my Heart!  TC, and several others..scolded me, about the film I posted on Forums.   Guys I respect. "You should get to know him, as we do!"  WTF   Wasnt easy....THE KILL, on video post.  I'd fly with you against the HORDE any time!  My Bud DutchVII has returned...Netherlander..even he Lightly Admonished me, as to my perceptions towards you and KOTH! WTAF? He was TOC by way of KOTH...2 or so years ago?    We were going to try and show up...life got in the way

Instead of squelching me I think you need to squelch whatever recreational "supplements" you're on...   My vote is speed based on the frenetic forum posting.

An A20 is a fighter bomber. A B17 or B24 wasnt designed to be flown as an acrobatic fighter like a mustang or hog. Finetime is known to do that. Straphing field guns and/or vulching with them also wasnt the way they were used. Bombers were designed to get a large number of bombs to target and then to return to do it again. The guns were to defend themselves from attach, not to seek it out.

However that type of play is allowed in the game, even if it ruins some players game play, much like ENY does for other players.

Fully agree with that, using Lanc, B17/24 etc. as jabos is something I deeply dislike. In one other sim there are pilots, who dive bomb with them and overperform 1-engine fighters. Not to mention 1-ping kills from D10 etc.

I did not see you dive bombing like Stuka and outturning, outrunning and outclimbing fighters, nor did I see miracle 1-ping kills from D10 or further. If I'm attacked, I fight back, that's normal. That strafing is IMHO questionable and wondering how did you survive. Been trying it myself couple of times and always shot immediately down by ack.

Bit out of topic, but my B24s have been 1-pingend (all 3 with 1 burst) by Yak3 and once T34 shot them all down from 4k in few seconds.

Hate to see you go, Finetime.   But I don't think a threat or ultimatum to Hitech is going to work to bring about the desired change in ENY, which as I understand it, is to suspend ENY restrictions when player count is < 50?    And automatically logoff tower sitters after a certain time period of inactivity?    These sim like reasonable suggestions to me.

While I would like to see Hitech continue tweaking and rolling out changes and additions to AH, it doesn't appear that is happening any more, whatever the reason(s) might be.   

What about adding the Boston III or the B-25C to your repertoire during ENY-restrictions?   These are fine planes as well.

Thats what its now coming down to. I love the game. I dont like to invest copious amounts of time into a war effort and then all of a sudden not be able to fly my bombers.... especially when I was serious outnumbered on a friday/saturday afternoon and night and then 11pm rolls around and bish log in masse and eny is 21+ for and hour or more. Same in mornings at multiple times on multiple teams. Of course its not all the time but it happens way too much these days.

In all fairness i wont let the door hit me on the way out but until then ill still be in there
