Think of all of the unborn wasted talent over the decades.  We may have cured cancer by now.

Just a hunch, but I suspect if aborted children were to reach adulthood, the most common outcome would be that of a street urchin. Most unwanted children who grow up in an environment of poverty and lack of nurture don’t do well in life. And before you bring up the 1/100000 like Warick Dunn and Dr Carson, I go by the 80% rule.

If being a productive member of society were a requirement for life we'd have to kill a lot of people.

Sounds like a justification for human purging then.

Start naming me all the laws that restrict a man’s personal decisions concerning his own body?

Take your time.

I can't:
-- take medicines that aren't governmentally approved (even if I have late-stage cancer and will die if I don't give something a try).
-- get medical procedures that aren't governmentally approved (even if I am 100% certain it would help me and am willing to sign a waver).
-- sell one my kidneys for $250,000.
-- take various drugs.
-- pay someone to kill me.
-- get assisted suicide in any state.

But that is all missing the point.

People against abortion believe that abortion is murder of another person.  They don't want murder of another person to be legal.

People for abortion don't believe that abortion is murder.  They want the mother to have the freedom to get that procedure done.

However, the Constitution doesn't decide whether or not a fetus or 20-week baby is a person.  Even if it did decide an N-week baby is not a person, the Constitution still does not have the power to force every State to make abortion legal.  Because states have the power to make even life-saving medical treatments and medicines illegal if the treatments and medicines don't pass the state's laws or bureaucratic rules.

Anti-abortion people want the Federal Government to force all states to make abortion illegal.

Pro-abortion people want the Federal Government to force all states to make abortion legal.

I think that they are both wrong.  It is now and should remain a matter for the people of each State to decide.

I think many, if not most, pro-life people are Constitutionalists and know that the 10th Amendment applies here.

For those not familiar with the US Constitution and too lazy to look it up:

Tenth Amendment
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

I feel confident that the Framers would have sided with the pro-life crowd had it been an issue back then, but as you pointed out, this was not addressed in the Constitution therefore correctly ruled a state matter.  Every pro-life person I know agrees with the SCOTUS ruling, while I only know a few pro-choice people who have a problem with the ruling, and they are liberal.  This has become a campaign talking point for the left, nothing more.

I would like to see the same treatment for medical therapies -- each state deciding what it will or won't allow.  No unconstitutional FDA working to enforce nation-wide bans on medical therapies.

TDY a couple of weeks at Kunsan in the mid 70's for the first Team Spirit. Out of Kadena. Visited A-Town. Osan for a year in '93-'94.

A-Town was a hoot.  Basically closed in the late 90s, at least regarding how it was run previously.

There were topless dancers in the Airman's club and a Massage parlor on the base at Kunsan when I was there. I think all that changed not long after.

If the media doesn't research and report on a story I guess they can then say it's not true and anyone saying it does is lying...

See how this works?

How can any legal citizen be for this invasion? How can anyone vote for the side responsible regardless of any other false promises they spew? Is it just stupidity?

Time for the citizens to take matters into their own hands if the government refuses to stop the enemy invasion.

Many think that's what they are pushing...an excuse to implement a  Marshall law scenario at the level needed of their own choosing...

It'd make the silencing of 2020 look pale in comparison..
