That's my memory as well-the Fester being Citabria thing that is.

I remember Drex being unbeatable in Warbirds. Then he and Levi (aka +Dead, DeadF, +todd, Todd, Uber, Levi amongst others in AW) joined forces in the Blue Knights over here. Sheesh, what a talent pool that squad possessed. they were/are all bona fide killers.

I also kinda think Fester/Citabria was the phenom that was -ASF- (Altitude Super Freak) back in AW. ASF absolutely crushed it for a few months in 1995/96 and then abruptly left. I could be wildly wrong but just a hunch.

MA is not the same ma..fewer targets, much different radar settings

Meh, guaranteed they wouldn't dominate that much. Most would be rusty. Also many of the great 1V1 sticks weren't necessarily that great in the MA either. But the current crop does have many good sticks and way less easy kill noobs along with less help from friendlies since the #s and squads are lower. Also any good vet could come in here and fly in their easy modes and do well in score if they tried. IMO, a player who mostly uses the easiest BnZ planes is using it as a crutch and it doesn't really represent "true" all out skills in the MA since planes in the MA aren't "equals" like it would be if AvA during the same year period. Its much easier to "look good" flying super fast cannon monsters. But it really does take the fun away from the game overall.
