Trip's Law: AI capability will double every single year.
It's going to be a lot harder for youngsters just trying to get going in life. Are we now lucky to be getting old? I'm glad I'm at the end of my regular career phase, rather than the beginning, TBH.
BUT, here is no putting the Genie back in the bottle. There in no un-ringing the bell. Neither of those are an option.
The only options now are learn to profit from it, or be destroyed by it. Well, assuming you are still in business or the employment market or care about anyone who is.
Every young person should start seriously reconsidering any physical trade that can't be done by AI. We'll at least not for a while longer. The next phase will have to be to start giving AI physical externality.
It's already starting. At this moment I have one robot doing the floors and another robot mowing the lawn while I have my coffee. I was amazed at how well they function. I was very skeptical going in.
