109Ks in WBs made allied life extremely problematic.

Spit14s in WBs were fast as hell on fire but lost alot of directional stability near the speed of sound.

P51Hs in WBs were...hey!  wait a tic.

Now THEREs an idea worth chewing on

P-51H never saw combat in WW2. Spitfire Mk.XIV entered service 2nd of January 1944, 13 months and 1 day before P-51H did it's maiden flight. Bf 109K-4 began reaching combat units mid-october 1944. Now there's something to chew on. :)

EDIT/LOL, a little typo :)/EDIT

That's what happens when the War Ministry tries to reach decision by "concensus."

I found this interesting on another BBS-

Nobody enjoys seeing messages posted that claim a patch is out when in fact it is a "joke".

If you post one of these thoughtless and stupid messages, you will be banned from the forum.

I'm not joking.

   We don't need more 109's/p51's/spit's.. They already have 3+ models :D Why not throw another 38 in to even it up, 2 would make me happier

Erm... squze me.. but we pony drivers only have TWO models to choose from, not the 3+ like the 109/spit dweebs.

I think a -51H would be verra nice to have.

It would be nice to have every variant of every aircraft :D

If we limit the discussion to the Spit XIV, 109K, and P-51H per above replies: the Spit is already done, the differences between the G10 and the K are negligible (effectively already in the game), that leaves the P-51H.

However, there are plenty of aircraft more common that actually flew combat. Most notably, the late P-47 variants.

But I could care less about rare perk planes.

Early P-38s, P-40, P-61, F2A, F4F, Frank, Oscar, Tojo, Jack, MiG-3, etc. all rank higher on my list than the fabled P-51H. Of course, being a pony fan, I would fly it anyway. However, I am a big F4U fan and I primarily fly the F4U-1 and the F4U-1D. I have almost no stick time in the -4, and normally only resorted to the -1C when doing base attacks or tired of Typhoons/Tempests in HtH.

Keep in mind that there is already, and always has been, a P-51 in AH that is newer than the Spitfire Mk XIV.  The P-51D entered service months after the Spitfire Mk XIV.  The P-51B entered service less than a month prior to the Spitfire Mk XIV entering service.
