The real key to leaving few leftovers is to fire as close in as you possibly can.  Wait until you can see the whites of his eyes, then get in even closer.  * I guarantee that you'll have few if any kills stolen using that rule of thumb.

Those 7.9 mm are just for scaring them.
Hold down that 20 mm button and they will explode if you get close.  :)

i have found a purpose in AH , follow joe around and steal all his kills, does he really count all 100 ck 6's?  "78,79,80"?

but seriously folks, some times its not stealing, last night i was turn fighting a lone niki with some friendlys, i made a pass on the niki he turned , i went vert, lost sight, when i came over the loop niki was right in front of me about 300yds, saw NO smoke, i opened fire, niki exploded, .....then i get told niki had lost part of his tail and was going down and i was a kill stealer, i really had no time to ck to see if all the parts were still on the niki before i fired, he looked like he was still flying...........anyway i talked over with the offended party and i think he understood.

Can't believe this thread made it onto 3 pages, I didn't read the second page, did I miss anything.

I sort of agree with you Joe and would take it a step further.  Have you ever be on a cons butt, d200 or less, firing away and had a dweeber overfly you to get your "almost" kill, and been killed yourself when your shots hit 'el dweebo'.  Personally if I see someone laying lead into a con I'll pull in on his wing until he either blasts the sucker, runs outta ammo or for some reason looses sight then position on the con.  I have also followed hit cons down to the deck (not firing on them) to make sure they don't pull out of the dive at the last second and head for home.

But all that said, is it really worth going through the trouble to hit him with a 100 6 calls?  It maybe better to simply alert your country that a new kill stealer has joined the ranks and later pay him back if you get the opportunity.  my $.02 worth.

LOT OF GOOD POINTS AND BAD
« Reply #109 on: April 23, 2002, 04:57:22 PM »
ALOT OF THESE  are very valid points i do agree it pisses me off to no end to se some one follow a falling plane down shoot it up and take my kill!!!!
But that's  when you tell that person - via country comm channel or range channel that  the enmy con is  dead / and or that toejamty to steal / try and steal kills.
magg44 made a good point in close combat situations sumetimes its hard to know whats going on but none the less better a dead enmy con than one still flyin.
lol in every instance we all need to work  as a team and there will always be newbies around so its best  to politely inform the of there wrong ways! and if that dont work steal there kills follow them around......use the      ".wingman 'id'" function and see where that bastards At to make your point!

lol ok im done i hope this squeak of the week makes it to 10 pages

rolf, very true. I'd say that 99% of AH community aren't conditioned enough culturally to understand the absolute music. ^6^ You being one of 'em.

It's similar to how there's so little real competition in AH--people don't really have the ability to comprehend. :( Again, you pass.

Btw Lev, I'm going to Carnegie Hall tomorrow night, Brahms, Mozart, and Schubert. $10 rush ticket's ownz j00!

Where are yours kill stealer?

I remember that sortie now. Me and soviet were flying's 190a5's together. The map was ND-Isles if I am not mistaken. You happen to be flying d3.0 away from me. A spit fire comes in, me, you and soviet engage. I end up shooting off the tail, then you and your Ki-61 kill-steal, Wonderfull!.

Are you that worried about your score?

Look pal, I'm not gonna get into a pissing contest with you over who knows more about classical music. IMO that is about as silly as it can get on a BBS (with the possible exeption of posting pictures of girlfriends to brag). Frankly I'd much rather hit myself in the head repeatedly with a hammer.

Relax, some day you will realize that you dont have to prove anything to us here on this BBS. Most people seem to agree that you are a good stick, why not just leave it at that? Do you have to try to prove that you are oh-so-much-more than just a good stick, you are also a classical connoisseur, and generally a deep thoughtful and intelligent guy?

I have run into guys like you in other forums like this, and generally it is not overly difficult to see through the image you want to show.

A good rule of thumb is that generally it is the people most eager to post how good they are that have some serious self-confidence issues. I mean, if you are so sure that you are THE connoisseur, warrior-poet, ace...why not just sit back and enjoy the knowledge of that?

So, relax, enjoy your classical concerts, and drop the attitude.
