My Uncle used to let me take the controls of his Cessna Push-Pull, and I've had a couple of actual lessons in a Piper Tomahawk..never really persuded it much.

Here is my experience as a pilot:  An attractive blonde woman I met said she had a Beech 18 and she would teach me to fly it.

It sounded fun to me and I always wanted to be a pilot, so we went to the airport the very next evening.  We took off and flew out over the desert.  She showed me how the autopilot worked and then she suddenly took off all her clothes.  I didn't know what to think about this.  She said she was the 'captain' of the ship and ordered me to get naked.  Well, what could I say?

She said this was part of learning to fly and I might as well get used to it.

So I got naked and she got me onto the couch just behind the cockpit door.  Actually, it wasn't too bad.  We thrashed around there for awhile and she worked me over pretty good.  Every now and then she'd get up and go to the cockpit to 'check on the bird,' whatever that means.  She always came right back.

After some time, I was wiped out.  She said I could fly the thing back to the airport and we sat there naked in the cockpit with her letting me steer the airplane.  I had no idea what I was doing.  On top of that, I looked like a boiled chicken and felt like a gutted snowbird.

She said that is the way all real pilots learn to fly and I might as well get used to it.  She said this was 'real aviation.'  She had beautiful breasts...real hummers if you know what I mean.  Not a bad butt, either.

I don't know how in the hell you pilots ever learned to fly an airplane in those conditions.  My hat is off to all of you.

As for me, I got out of 'aviation.'  I talked her into going to Hawaii on one of those big airliners and it was a lot easier.  Of course the flight attendants didn't like her (my flight instructor) because she was such a knockout and the airline food sucked.  But that is another story.

Vega,
I bet you have a lot more stories to tell us.. the trouble is most of these guys think you are joking! ........VEGA is a Senior 777 Captain. He's to damn modest to tell us he's probably got more actual flying time than the cumulative total of this board. Salute.. you crusty old perverted Aviator! Look forward to having a few drinks again at Houston's! You got any good Skymutt or Gerbal stories?

Salute

Hi Thunder!
Yes, here is one:

I man drove the lav service truck to the side of an airplane and connected the hose.  As the pump was sucking waste out of the jet, the hose broke and dumped raw sewage all over him.

The horrified ramp manager told him to take the day off.

At home, his wife was aghast and said, "Why don't you quit that terrible job?"

He stood there, covered in toejam, and said,
"What?  Get out of aviation?"

Lunch on me at Houstons.
Salute!

Just starting out, 45h in a Robin R200/120 and a week or so from obtaining my JAR/PPL. Will be flying Cessna 172 in no time.

Let me tell ya, my economy wouldn't suffer as much if I was on drugs! They are not so expensive!!

Here's a photo of the bird.

Oh, an almight 90 hours TT.
Most of it (training) on a Beagle Pup, a couple on a Bulldog, 6 hours in a Tiger Moth (Or how-to-learn-to-tapdance) and are currently throwing myself (and instructor) around in this one. (The Pitts, not the Cap)

Hehe I know, it's just that I have to fly a bit in the 172 in order for the aeroclub to let me fly it anytime I want (without instructor, that is)

Robin is wonderful to have fun with, and the Cessna is great to travel with friends

A little bit of Robin just for fun...
A little bit of Cessna when there's sun...

Runway number 5!
