1946, Willie Messerschmidt and Kurt Tank go out to the Arctic Ocean and catch a walrus. They tow it to the shore and try to carry him to their home nearby. It is extremely difficult: the tail fins are very slippery and fangs always get stuck between stones and pieces of ice...
Semyon Lavochkin walks out of a house smoking and sees this tired pair sweating but still far from their destination. "Hey, guys, isn't it better to carry the walrus holding the fangs, so it's much more comfortable as a handle, while tail fins will slip over the stones and ice?"
They talk a while, and Kurt and Willie finaly get hold of the fangs.
"Kurt, it's funny, but it's really much easier and we go faster! Looks like that Russians are smarter then we..."
"Willie, I don't think so, look, we came back to the sea!"
