Nice idea. I think it would work well if/when infantry are added. Each infantryman could carry one or two satchel charges capable of destoying a building. Of course current troop transport vehicles should carry same number of live troops as virtual.

hmm, but what could you do in the back of a goon while in transit?

play poker?:D

here's some thing that would be nice, a glider attached to the goon with a selection of jeeps, troops, or a light tank/ISV

The mammoth has a vulcan cannon turret mounted on top of this main turret, plus it has 2 all purpose missle launchers mounted on each side.  Would you really like to try and dive bomb something with a vulcan on top? :)

I like the fundamental behind this idea, rather than the idea itself.

At some point, we really gotta have a ground warfare portrayed - being an 'air based' simulation doesn't necessarily mean ground warfare is unimportant. Now, I know the MA isn't exactly WWII, and HTC doesn't claim(nor deny) that the MA is portraying WWII in any sort of way. But as it is, we use vintage WWII fighters, bombers and vehicles in AH, and the only way they are used to its full potential is to have a situation simular to WWII going on. (ex. bombers currently can't find a role because strat does not work in the universal scale it did in WWII)

I'm also aware no MMOG air combat sim game ever portrayed ground warfare in a satisfactory manner, but there's no reason why HTC shouldn't be the first one ever in the market to become a true standard in depicting ground war :)
