Im on 56K, And, I dont feel like downloading different software to play a game that should have its own Service Provider.

I read the boards over there and have been a member since I bought Silent Hunter II. But I dont post in the IL2 boards.

Ubi made me really mad. First with SHII, then with DC. IL2 took me a long time to buy just because Ubi.I was even part of the IL2 closed beta.

Its a great game. I'm just tired of down loads for Ubi Soft.
There must also be a flyable computer available for Nefarious to do FSO. So he doesn't keep talking about it for eight and a half hours on Friday night!

Nefarious... HyperLobby

Far better the UBILobby... far less overhead, far better players, far more diversity.

Oh, and uninstall UBILobby if you did install it.. it's a cancer.

I never installed Ubi Soft software until SH II and DC, Then I realized it was a joke. like I said, I sat down and thought long and hard before I bought IL2. I am happy I bought it, and playing it online sounds fun, But that would be one more thing I would rather do than stuff Im supposed to do.

Thanks for the link, But I'll think i'll just stick to offline full realisim missions.

No prob, if you want some links for the offline stuff, here's a few:

http://www.uberdemon.com.

Download the massive FE download. (I forget where it is, but it's the biggest one) and be sure to download the latest update. This will allow you to generate as many single missions as you want with as much variety as you want. You can set it to randomize all sorts of things (planes -> based on year, objects, time, alt, map, objectives, mission type, etc), and it's pretty simple. It'll take a couple of runs to understand it, but if you read the pop ups and guides (within the Il2 game too), it becomes pretty easy after that.

http://members.shaw.ca/viking11/Ju87-camp.zip

The above is a Ju87 campaign, instructions should be in there (dunno, haven't downloaded it, but he makes good campaigns apparently) Just tried to run the download, file is there.

http://www.il2sturmovik.com/download/missions/barbarossa_2.0.zip

That's a Fw190 and Bf109 campaign (two seperate ones)... there's some stuff you may want to read, it has a readme included in the file. Only played 6 of the missions myself... and 5 of 'em I would hit fly and then end it because they were just training missions.

Just in case you want something more than those canned missions.

My bad... http://www.uberdemon.com

(the above has a period after .com)

Here is the main program:
http://www.uberdemon.com/downloads/UberQuickDemoNC.zip

Here is the update to 1.2:
http://www.uberdemon.com/downloads/UQMGDemo120Update.exe

There is an included text file in the first download.

It's a real good program, especially when you understand how to navigate it. (foreign program, takes a couple of tries, then it's fairly easy)

If you run into any questions about it, I can answer 'em for ya if you post here.

I just got it yesterday mainly cause its got a Stuka now! With a dive siren! Unfortunatly my sight is misaligned, I am having the same problem with the 109 E-7 and both G-6s kinda annoying. Aside from that eye candy is cool, love that 1 30mm into a heavy bombers wing messes him up big time, it feels like color guncam footage. Its harder to hit I gotta get to about d .12 to hit sometimes. But I ve also gotten deflection shots out to their equvelent to D 500. Bombers are fun too you can sit out of range of their defensive armament and plaster them with 20mm. Its pretty good worth the 30 euro I paid for it.

Shift-F1 to move head in front of gunsight. Works for all planes but is only really needed in the germans because of the missalligned sight. In the rest of the planes it can be used to maybe get a better view around the cockpit bars.

Does anybody in here have a problem w/ the FM's like I do.  Acceleration and Roll are way overmodeled.  The Lag-3's accelerate like a La-7 or better and everything rolls like a F-16.  Has anyone noticed this?
