they'll get this guy.

abberations like this are the price we pay for having a free society. sometimes we all bear the burden.... the victims here are in a way martyrs to a free america. god bless every one of them.

:(
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...

...at home, or abroad.

Freedom is not free.

Exactly.

Still... I recall a statistic from the FBI stating that there are no less than 30 serial killers amongst us in the United States at any time.

Mr. DC just happens to be the flavor of  the moment... and he's got a new angle, serial sniping while roving about a metropolitan area.

No mercy after he is found.

The reward for information sky-rocketed from $50,000 to $500,000 and rising.

Do bounty hunters operate in this area or is the manhunt strictly federal business?

Just curious.

What a horrible thing to have your wife killed as you stand next to her loading the car in a parking lot.

I hope Maryland/DC has the death penalty.

Bet money more than one manhunter on the loose in the area hunting this nutbag(s) but seems like pure luck to be in the right place at the right time to catch them in the act..

If continues I'd expect to see the place become a police state real quick. Armed soldiers at every corner, look like a CNN broadcast from Israel :(

Sure, bounty hunters work around MD/DC/VA...

but I dunno exactly how they're gonna catch this person(s), unless they are in the right place at the right time to shoot him/them.

This person(s) has left behind very few clues and could possibly be using a decoy too (the white astrovan)..

In any event, I'm not scared... but in the past year and a few months simply going to work has been getting more dangerous in this area.

this ain't the same thing, but so glad you can just generalize it away

aren't most serial killings sexual in nature? Hidden, with the perp trying to kill and get away with it so he can do it again when the urge arises. THis guy wants the spotlight on him and can't see him getting his rocks off sexually doing it. This is cold blooded murder. PLanned, executed possibly organized by someone other than the shooter(s).

That's probably why you are not a serial killer.  The power of the act could be getting him off.  He's loving the the people he kills, the police, the FBI, the media, the states, the country.  Hell most of the west is watching this guy.

Can't help but wonder if this guy has a few certain targets that he's after and all the other folks are being used to hide the connection between the few "real" targets, thus hindering the investigation even more.

Sounds like the guy is real miticulous.  Gonna be hard to catch him w/o alot of luck.  Kinda reminds me of that Charon character out of one of Clancy's books.....

I've just been informed by an acquaintance in the DC area that the latest victim was the wife of a co-worker (He works in a firm of 170 employees) and his wife was an FBI analyst.  Guess this investigation will be stepped up a notch.
