hblair,  one other thing.  Think about a "2002 Grand Championship KOTH".  The only eligible participants are this year's KOTH winners.  It was great to see the best-of-the-best go at it.  And we allowed other people to view the matches from the ground.

We even had an "observer" that filmed each match.

Even if you don't have a full year under AH KOTH, its good promotional stuff.

Just a thought,

Advertisement...Advertisement ...Advertisement...

This is the largest single problem with all AH events. I just heard about King of the Hill on the MA chat and no one could even explain it to me when I asked "what is it?" several weeks ago. I think the Message of the Day idea is great, put adverts in a box! Also, the icon setting needs to be a variable thing. For people with low graphics resolution, (me, too cheap to buy new vid card), it would make shooting very difficult though. There are Pros and Cons to everything! Any more thoughts?

I only happened to check event anouncements forum that day, was in the mood for a TOD or somethin so I decided to give it a try.

The one thing that would REALLY make it better is allow bombers to be flown (Or at least fighter-bombers)!!!!!!!!

I shot down 6 guys just to get to pick the val and ya wouldnt let me choose it :( !!!!

Cmon think of how fun it'd be to have a Val, Lancaster, or SBD fight!

Allso, it'd be cool if u could host it weekly, on a day that there are no TOD's.

The ONLY reason we didn't allow bombers, or even fighter bombers, in AW was because you couldn't get those planes in duel mode.

May not be a bad idea to allow fighter bombers in AH.  Or at least give it a try.

Is it (would it be) possible to get HTC to stick a MOTD up for people logging into the MA with KOTH info (and TOD/SS/CAP etc).  I've missed lots of events I wouln't have had I had notice like this.  I'd say the overwhelming majority of MA'rs seldome visit this board.

Seriously, having a brief MOTD with a few lines telling of events of the day would probably help attendance immensely.
