What do you mean rude? As in you asked for help and folks told ya to p*** off or what.

I know a few folks who would be willing to help you out in terms flying and surviving in the main.

But onething about online games is you cant take anything from what folks say to heart. You need a some what thick skin and learn to view things with a grain of salt.

I dont know you but if you are quitting ah because you are having trouble getting the hang of things you may have asked the wrong people.

And them so-called moderators ain't doing a damn thing other than shutting up the more prominent foul mouthed bellybutton bandits.

But there's still a hundred other bellybutton bandits that use l33t lingo to circumvent the auto-mute, or the moderators just don't shut 'em up.

There needs to be something forcefully imposed... something like if you mention anything regarding politics, use l33t lingo, or simply type more than 3 sentences onto channel 1 in less than 15 minutes- they ban yo ass.

That DeathPig incident was absolutely foul and disturbing.   Unfortunately I was there to witness that whole thing and I was dumbfounded that he was able to transmit such filth for like 10 minutes on radio.  At the same time Shane was complain on CH1 that he was just warned/muted for saying “dweeb” (but that’s a different thread)

But you should do some or all of the following if you still want to fly without all the hassle.

A) Change your ID and come back as something new and don't use vox. That way all these testosterone dweebs will not bother you.

B) Sign up with a squad that protects their own.

C) Don't give these dweebs the satisfaction of having run you off.

We should police ourselves, and make sure that those who act inappropriately know how the community feels.

This is soo dissapointing to read. I sincerely hope you decide to stay Mandie, please don't let this foul mouthed person drive you from Aces High. On the whole the community is very friendly and I've made some very good friends here. I hope the person that caused you to want to leave has been banned by HTC as we certainly do not need that kind of stupid behaviour online.

I don't know you and I think I remember seeing you online once, havn't been playing much lately. I hate the fact you are letting rude people drive you away. We need more ladies here to help put a cushion of civility on the overall air of things.

Hope you have fun in whatever you decide to do but no matter where you go there will be morons galore. I have two daughters and two grand daughters and I would hate it if the same happened to them.

Plain and simple, she should not have to do that. For the most part, we're all adults. I'm begining to wonder about most though.

My god, you really got the worst of it, looking at those posts.
For myself i wasn't prepared to give up 'flying' because of a minority of idiots. I changed my id, don't use vox and even now always fly with CH1 squelched. It's a pain, cos I think vox is a great feature on AH, maybe some day i'll seek out a squad that I can trust. I think an all female squad would be a huge step backwards (be tragic if an online community in 2002 was as mature as the US public in the 40s: we wouldn't be allowed to fly combat flights).

I hope you find a way to play and enjoy it.
