My guess is you have similar laws like we have here.
With that kind of story and couple persons to back it up it would be pretty easy to get a license for a pepper-spray.
Are you having any Russian travellers there? Some of them could maybe sell you a Russian spray (I heard it's pretty efective).

Buy an air gun, put mace in it. Probably you will need to make pellets. There are some sites that describe how to do it.

If I was Santa, I'd be a little overwhelmed by the 'advice' he's getting.

Sounds a terrible situation mate. The city where I live has these Somali bastards - my brother lived near one of their dealing grounds as a student.

They are diddlying bananas - talk about tribal.

I hope you can find a solution - but I'd move out, until things have settled. You can always let a neighbour get the mail for you and forward it on.

Somali culture is quite clan based. I hate to say this but if there are more somali's in your area you got more than 2 to worry about. :(

Best thing I could suggest to you buddy is to move to another city. You gotta decide if ego is worth risking your life or risking you having to kill one of them.. or worse, living in fear of them.
