P-51D is king, as I figured it would be (it's too beautiful not to be), but its K/D ratio isn't very good.  

But what is "MA Impact"?

PS, how disgusting...the Seafire has more kills than any other carrier aircraft.

Seafire only has that many kills because it is a Spitfire Mk Vb with a 25 ENY instead of a 20 ENY like the actual Spitfire Mk V.  In other words, people are using it from land bases in place of the Spitfire Mk V.

Explain how you define your 'MA impact' category please, DejaVu.  

One other thing I'd like to see added is just a list of all kills, with the percentage each unit in AH had of them.  

Wish there was a way to keep track of sorties flown, that would be the easiest way to tell exactly how much use each plane is getting.

Woah! Looks like the N1ks usage has gone down considerably when compared to tour 34.  Considering the P51D, spit and la7 all rose a tad the n1k has taken a nosedive in usage.

So looking at the numbers, if the Seafire and SpitV are basically the same thing, we are seeing them account for about 8.2% of the kills in the main.  In combination with the Spit 9's useage, that is a lot of "Spit" icons flying around.

As always, despite noble efforts by people like Akak and myself, the P-38 still has a horrid K/D.  I suppose this is because it is a choice ride as a suicide jabo, and most people are clueless with it when they attempt to dogfight.  Oh well.  It remains one of the best planes in the game despite appearances. :)

The Stuka's stats are there, just not listed on the "fighter" page.  Basically, if the aircraft doesn't have a "fighter" option from the hangar, its not listed there.  You can look at the individual page though, and see how it fared against each type of vehicle by category.

As for the "MA Impact"... its just a little formula that takes kills and k/d into account.  Nothing really all that complex and really only worth the pixels it takes up.  I just thought there should be more to it than total kills.

Yes indeed, there certainly are a lot of SPIT icons in the MA due to those three aircraft.


AKDejaVu,

The D3A1 is listed, but it doesn't have the "Fighter" option.  Are you maybe grabbing the "Attack" option along with the "Fighter" option?

The King this tour is definetly the 109G2 with K/D = 2.922 !!!

But unhappily its only an error in calculation

Well basic theory of why the F4u-1c was perked ws because it was once king kite. Seems like a perfect reason to perk the 51D or unperk the -C.
