the most contrived 'holiday' is coming up.. Valentines Day.. where hoards of women demand absolute attention and the greeting card and diamond industry laugh all the way to the bank. How many of you have a gun to their heads from their women with instructions to lavish them with chocolate and expensive dinners?

Thanks for the reminder. Last year I forgot until I was on my way home from work. Stopped at the truck stop and picked her out a six of Bull and a Dale Ernhardt memorial lighter. It's gonna be hard to top that one.

Heh, I live with a woman who thinks that Valentines Day is just a cynical exercise is consumer brainwashing, and she's right.

Buy your woman a gift when it isn't Valentines day, it counts for a lot more!

Two major advantages:

1. It is cheaper.
2. I never forget our anniversary (Hallmark won't let me forget Valentines Day with all the TV ads)

I gave my wifey a 500.00 gift card from Home Depot once....just once.

Truthfully, my wifey is very cool and is my pal as well....I enjoy spending time with her. After all, she puts up with me flyin this silly sim.....well, and a few other silly things too:)

OUCH Curval.. did you have to endure a Valentines Day themed wedding too? with pink and red as your colors and everything with little red hearts all over it? I prolly would have dived thru a stained glass window..

I consider myself a very lucky man.. one of the first things my wife told me when we started dating, was that she considered V Day a load and 'dont you dare get me a box of chocolates or a diamond or some crap like that'.. I knew I had to marry her right then.
